Hi, my name is Kevin. First off, I want to say thanks in advance for any help offered. My question is in regards to the effect of "Damage Vaccine Omega Max" I have had several different people say many different things about the effect and how to use this card. What is the official use and ruling of this card?
- For example:
- After your opponent's Blue-eyes White Dragon attack you directly and your LP drop from 8000 to 5000, you can activate MAX and gain 3000 LP.
- After your opponent activate Volcanic Slicer's effect, infict 500 damage to your LP, and your LP drop from 8000 to 7500, you can activate MAX and gain 500 LP.--Lê (talk • contribs) 10:28, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
The official use is not. It's a horrible card. I don't see the problem you're having with the ruling, the first is damage by battle, the second is damage by effect, both are clearly mentioned on the card.121.222.228.13 (talk) 11:23, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

- Please sign your edits with four tildes at end of comment in Forum/Talk Page only. So yes, your judge is wrong - it must be activate when your Life Points is decreased, like Le said. You regain it afterward, just like "Enchanted Javelin" (only on Battle Damage, but before it was taken.) --FredCat 01:41, February 19, 2012 (UTC)

- Enchanted Javelin is not the same as Damage Vaccine Ω MAX...
- You gain Life Points before you lose them with Enchanted Javelin. You activated it at Attack Declaration.
- You lose Life Points before you gain them with Damage Vaccine Ω MAX. If it's battle damage, you activated it after Damage Calculation.
