I had also assumed this when I first began building for SDAM, maindecked at 1, but, regardless of the commonly maindecked darkhole, torrential tribute, and heavy storm, (and others) it is a sidedeck card now. There are better, more consistant methods for bringing The Stardust Dragon & its assault mode into the duel and without the restrictions of not being able to bring back The Stardust Dragon summoned by its effect. The one exception to this without regard for the Stardust Dragon used to bring out its assault mode which I use in one version is by way of The Eccentric Boy, and this is primarily for The Assault Modes quick summoning.

One thing I saw on the TCGplayer's "What the Fix" article about a similar deck suggested using Tenki to search out Assault Beast quicker for a faster Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode. You might want to try that. Vorpal Storm Pony (talk • contribs) 17:05, August 23, 2013 (UTC)

Personally, I'd go for 4+4 combos for quick access to Stardust Dragon using Summoner Monk. Since you're running Black Garden as per usual, LV4 Tuners can also work with the Tokens that appear on your field. --Gadjiltron (talk • contribs) 00:42, August 24, 2013 (UTC)
