Forum:Duelist pack kaiba

i was looking at the list of cards in this pack and was wondering why they picked the cards they did. they could have made the list shorter in my opinion and taken out hitotsume giant and saggi the dark clown. also, whats up with the forbidden cards? i feel like this pack wasnt thought out too well....what do you guys think?148.100.192.48 23:55, April 18, 2010 (UTC)

Dude they just want to put kaiba's cards in there. Who knows? People just want to collect them or play a children's card game, their choice. Don't trust my advice though. -Fallensilence

Also they are all hard to reach (not including Structure Deck/Starter Deck, as of Pot of Greed) in earlier packs, so why not, they're nice to reobtaining in better text and quote. --FredCat100 18:47, April 19, 2010 (UTC)

I agree that Hitotsu-me-giant should have been exluded for some of kaiba's better cards such as Attack Guidance Armor, though i give 2 thumbs up to the xyz- Dragon Cannon and CED-EOTE even if it is forbidden. I also think cards like Kaiser Sea Horse and Fiend's Sanctuary are great for collectors over all 9.5 out of 10 from me.

They're trying to make use of nostalgia as a main selling point for the Duelist Packs Yugi and Kaiba. Naturally, they'd pick the monsters which both characters have used quite often throughout the series. I think of Duelist Pack Kaiba as more of a nostalgic look at past cards include some new ones and old favorites. Cards like Blue Eyes, Fiend Sanctuary, & Kaiser Seahorse are old favorites. A new addition like White Stone Of Legend is a new favorite as well. Old players will remember classic cards & new players will have a chance to see old favorites. For 2 bucks a pack its worth it! Automation's right, even though I still have the kaiba starter deck original cards it's cool to see the older cards being released since mine are all creased :/ (I was young, didn't respect the cards!), I thought it was cool to also include Malefic Blue-Eyes White Dragon into the set and also The White Stone of Legend too, makes me want to play a blue eyes deck. It exist because I would like to get my hand on "Crush Card Virus" and "Fiend Sanctuary" that I missed from before, as well as reobtained the golden dragon that cannot destroy if battle same ATK points and if it dead, it could revive one card or was that destroy one card from the field?
