Worms? Face-up? What kind of sorcery is this?

So I looked at my old Worm/Venom hybrid Deck and tweaked it a little, even deciding to splash in Evil Dragon Ananta as another fallback. Then I realized that I've been falling back onto Ananta more often, and decided to just axe the whole Vennominon/Vennominaga duo to make way for more support.

Thus the Face-Up Worms Deck was born. The Deck uses the few beatsticks the Worms archetype has to offer to put on a constant offensive pressure on the opponent, especially when backed by Solidarity. Worm Xex mills a Worm on Summon, which immediately sets the stage for Solidarity to come into play, and Worm Tentacles is a beast when it double-strikes at 2500 ATK. Worm Yagan is definitely there to combo with Xex while providing temporary removal. Lion Alligator helps the Deck make dents through battle-immune walls (especially with Tentacles), and Kagetokage is present to aid in the summoning of King Feral Imp, the best Reptile tutor to exist.

And then come the high-levelled monsters. Worm Queen can Tribute herself to bring out another copy of herself or Worm King from the Deck, while King can Tribute... well, any Worm for removal. This combos particularly well with Viper's Rebirth since I can switch a monster that's supposed to be temporarily on the field with one that sticks around, or at the very least take something down with it. I normally prefer to use Viper's Rebirth to Summon the royalty rather than Tribute Worms for them, so Trade-In is present to put them where I need them to be while netting extra cards. Even King Feral Imp can help tutor one of the royalty so that I can use Trade-In sooner.

Then there's Evil Dragon Ananta. After the duel has progressed enough, it can already reach sufficiently high stat levels that force the opponent into a pinch, not to mention its constant destruction ability continuing to pick off the rest of the opponent's field passively. Even if the opponent is utterly wiped out with nothing left on their field, fodder for its destruction effect to prevent self-sacrifice often consists of unneeded Trade-Ins or useless Solidarities.

The rest of the S/T lineup is pretty much standard. Since I'm going against Worm tradition and leaving most of my monsters face-up on the field, I can afford to run triplicate Offering to the Snake Deity just to punish removal.
