If I attack a face-down monster, and the monster got a flip effect, can I negate the flip effect with FC even if the flip effect monster is destroyed? ALPHACKER 13:48, April 15, 2010 (UTC)
Because it modifies ATK, "Forbidden Chalice" can be activated in the Damage Step, but not during Damage Calculation or any point in the Damage Step after damage calculation.
- Forbidden Chalice modifies ATK and Negates Effects until the End Phase.
- That being said, Monsters are flipped face-up in Substep 2 of the Damage Step.
- You can activate Forbidden Chalice at this time or in Substep 3. (You cannot Activate it in Substep 4 or after.)
- Then in Substep 6, when Flip Effects Activate and Resolve, Ryko will Activate, but will be Negated. Falzar FZ 00:23, April 16, 2010 (UTC)
