So, last summer I tried my hands at Gishki, the deck worked well, but I felt like it wasn't the right time for the deck, so I let the Forum system Archive it. In the new format, some cards that I really liked aren't that great just because of all the S/T destruction. Now I've come back to it after Resk beat me with his version, and edited it, now I want your thoughts on it. Last time Runer5h, BobaFett2, and Lappyzard help me out a bunch. I hope you'll do the same for me this time guys. ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 02:08, September 26, 2011 (UTC)

Also I need 2 cards to drop for 2 Gishki Beast. And any other edits the deck needs. ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 02:10, September 26, 2011 (UTC)
Lost Blue Breaker > Spined Gillman, Also, you really only need 2 mirrors, and 1 vision, Also, due to the silly high search power, you only really need 3 ritual monster, as mirror cycles them, is what I'd suggest,-Resk ()() 11:20, September 26, 2011 (UTC)
Anything else? ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 22:12, September 26, 2011 (UTC)
I personally prefer the three Mirrors... and, come to that, the three Vision Gishkis. Also, I urge you to get a Gachi Gachi Gantetsu in that extra deck - it turns Gustkrake from a pretty meager 2400 into a wonderful 2800 attacker, and provides useful field presence while on the defensive. Strike out a Merrowgeist for it - I've rarely used Merrowgeist in any of my duels.
Oh, and by the way: I've personally found Gishki Beast to work much better at 2. That way, there's less dead draws and more consistency. Runer5h (talkcontribs) 23:03, September 26, 2011 (UTC)Runer5h
Yeah, I do like the 3x Mirror and 2x Vision shouldn't be bad. I had 2 Beast already, and the Gachi should work well, lots of level 2s. ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 03:59, September 27, 2011 (UTC)
I'm gonna keep both Crush, it really helped against Glad Beasts. :). ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 01:05, September 28, 2011 (UTC)
Anything else? ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 00:52, September 29, 2011 (UTC)
I've been playing a Gishki deck almost identical to yours for a little bit now. I must say, I never need more than 2 Mirrors, since they are searched so easily and are recycled with just as much ease. I'll probable post my deck up in a minute. I rarely draw into Beast as it is, and when I do, it's really never dead because Shadow is almost always in the grave. I also like to have 3 Vision. It's just an awesome searcher, and you want to have some to draw into if they're being used up by Diva. I also don't see much point in 3 Gustkrake, especially if you do decide to keep 3 Vision. The Rituals are some of the most easily recycled cards in the deck. Looks very good though. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 22:40, September 30, 2011 (UTC)
One more thing, I really don't like Erial. She is much too slow for my liking. I always found myself playing other cards besides her. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 23:01, September 30, 2011 (UTC)
Perhaps "Summoner Monk" and Mr. Octopus Head instead?--Designless Square (talkcontribs) 02:04, October 1, 2011 (UTC)
Summoner Monk is an ok idea, but this deck focuses on speed. Well, I know my version often has a ritual in the grave, so Mirror often recycles itself. But Marker is a decent idea if this version doesn't normally have a ritual. Personally, I'd say add a 3rd Deep Sea Diva and a 3rd Gishki Beast. I'd also say -1 Gustkrake for +1 Tetrogre. Tetrogre is great for the late games when they have little or no hand. You can make them send a spell and you get a Mirror in the grave, leading to a ritual in your hand, or make them send a trap and one that is no longer useful, like Mind Crush. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 12:50, October 1, 2011 (UTC)
Hmm, not sure about any of those ideas. I've been testing with this deck and so far I've been winning without trouble. I like 3 Mirror, and this deck focuses on destroying the opponent's hand to a degree, so Tetrogre is a no go for me. ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 12:57, October 1, 2011 (UTC)
Take a look at my deck if you don't mind. My Gishki deck focuses on the same thing, and maybe mine is different than yours, but I never have Mirror in the grave. :P I often use one ritual to summon another, due to all the searching. That way I can recover the monster and Ritual Summon again. 3 Mirror is really just silly, unless you wanna open with, which I suppose is fine. It's really just a personal preference. I'm with Resk, you really don't need 3 of ANY of their Rituals, so I'd say at least drop a Gustkrake for a third Vision, which I fell is necessary, or even a third Diva or Beast. Speed is key.Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 13:25, October 1, 2011 (UTC)
I'm waiting for Evigishki Levianima to come out, so I can see its effect, then I may replace 1 Gust with it, BUT for now I'm content with my build. The 3 Gust/3 Mirror is a personal preference of mine, mostly because I like to open with it. Although thanks for all your comments, and I may consider them, if Evigishki Levianima isn't that great. ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 15:06, October 1, 2011 (UTC)
I'm actually very curious myself about Levianima, and I am considering at least running 3 Mirror, since I depend a little too heavily on Shadow, and perhaps a third Gustkrake since I am sort of the same way. I rarely use Augus though... What exactly is the release date for the next DT? Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 15:10, October 1, 2011 (UTC)
October of this year, which is starts today for those of us in the U.S. Personally I use Augus, because I can reuse Limited cards again, like Monster Reborn, Dark Hole, Solemn Judgment, and to possibly disrupt my opponent's plays that involve the graveyard. ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 15:25, October 1, 2011 (UTC)
Also, the double Gachi is really good, lots of level 2s in this deck. I can see why Agents are topping, not that they weren't kinda topping before, but you know what I mean. ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 15:38, October 1, 2011 (UTC)

@DASP:Yeah, but isn't there an exact day? How do Duel Terminal release packs work exactly? I do like Augus, and I will keep it because she is a good recycler, it's just the duels rarely last long enough for her to be really beneficial (unless it's LS's). :P I suppose it'll really come down to how good Gishki Avance and Evigishki Levianima are. I can't wait to see them! Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 15:43, October 1, 2011 (UTC)

True, I guess you could go ask on the General Forum. ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 15:47, October 1, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, good idea. Thanks, Ace! Would you mind taking a look at my deck for help? Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 15:59, October 1, 2011 (UTC)
So, Evigishki Levianima, is it worth adding? Personally I think no, but what about all of you? ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 01:14, October 5, 2011 (UTC)
You'd be surprised. Levianima is actually quite good, with high ATK and the fantastic card-drawing effect. Also, it sets you up nicely for Mind Crush. Runer5h (talkcontribs) 19:32, October 5, 2011 (UTC)Runer5h

I can tell just by looking that that card is broke shit. RUN IT. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 20:34, October 5, 2011 (UTC)

Should I drop a Gustkrake? ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 22:33, October 5, 2011 (UTC)
The only problem is that this was a hand destruction build, and having a level 8 makes it a little harder to loop with Mirror. ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 01:43, October 6, 2011 (UTC)

I believe Resk only plays 2 Gustkrake, and since two of your searchers fulfill the entire Ritual requirement, I don't see how its level would be too much of a hindrance, if at all. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 01:56, October 6, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah I guess, so.
1 more thing I wanna put out there. I wanna mention once again that I just can't stand Erial. She is slower than Christmas. :P I'd say remove her for a third Diva/Beast to help with Xyz/Synchro if you use Diva (Gachi gives that wonderful, needed boost, and Utopia is always good) and this deck is pretty much perfected. ^_^ Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 22:12, October 6, 2011 (UTC)
I left 1 Erial in there for additional search, and she's a nice wall. Plus, the Lev. thing worked. ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 22:22, October 6, 2011 (UTC)
I just can't think of many times I'd rather have her than say, Deep Sea Diva. I find that there are much better things to waste my summon each turn on, and you shouldn't be doing much walling. Anyone else agree? I'd almost run Avance before her, since it can at least combo with Levianima and attacks instead of defending. Just speaking theoretically of course, I wouldn't run Avance myself. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 23:31, October 6, 2011 (UTC)
Thoughts on what SM10 is saying? ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 01:55, October 7, 2011 (UTC)

I have to agree. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 19:12, October 7, 2011 (UTC)
