--The situation is:I have a face-down Gladiator Beast Darius and a face down Gladiator Beast War Chariot,and my opponent has a D.D. Warrior Lady.D.D. Warrior Lady attacked my face-down Gladiator Beast Darius,then after damage calculation,my opponent choosed to activate Warrior Lady's effect,can I activate my War Chariot?

I believe so because the gladiator beast is flipped up during the damage step before damage calculation.169.234.124.202 07:33, November 6, 2009 (UTC)
I guess I have an extension to this question. Same scenario. Would Gladiator Beast Darius be considered destroyed by battle and still end up going to the graveyard? Animedude3000 18:41, November 6, 2009 (UTC)
- For the original question, that is legal. For Animedude3000's question, "Gladiator Beast Darius" would still be destroyed by battle.
- See Breakdown of the Battle Phase. After entering the Damage Step, you first flip face-up "Gladiator Beast Darius" (so from now onward, "Gladiator Beast War Chariot" can be activated). Then, you perform Damage Calculation and have "Gladiator Beast Darius" be destroyed by battle. Then, the effect of "D.D. Warrior Lady" activates - but, "Gladiator Beast Darius" is still face-up on the field (it was flipped earlier on and it hasn't been sent to the Graveyard yet), so "Gladiator Beast War Chariot" may be activated. At the end of the Damage Step, "Gladiator Beast Darius" is sent to the Graveyard since it was destroyed earlier on.
