My goyo attacks my opponent's juju master in defense mode. Do I get juju?24.193.88.193 06:27, February 18, 2010 (UTC)
- Chain Link 1: Juju (mandatory trigger)
- Chain Link 2: Goyo's effect (optional trigger)
Resolve:
- Chain Link 2: Goyo (SS Juju to your side)
- Chain Link 1: Juju (returns Goyo to deck)

- See SEGOC.
- "Goyo Guardian" has an optional effect, and "Legendary Jujitsu Master" has a mandatory one, so "Legendary Jujitsu Master" is automatically Chain Link 1 and "Goyo Guardian" is automatically Chain Link 2. "Colossal Fighter" is different, since his effect is optional.

You get juju because (as above) goyo is chain link 2. goyo steals and gets returned to the extra deck.--Squidman 20 23:17, February 18, 2010 (UTC)
doesn't goyo's effect not activate because he needs to be face up on the field to use his effect.
- Yes, he must be face-up on the field in order to activate his effect. In the above scenario, Goyo Guardian IS face-up on the field when its effect is activated. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 07:30, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
oh LGM's effect activates after the damage step. i see.
- No, it is activated during the Damage Step at the Sub-Step 7. Check "Breakdown of the Battle Phase". ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 07:56, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
- "Goyo Guardian" needs to be face-up for its effect to activate - that is, for the effect to start the Chain Link. After the effect activates, "Goyo Guardian" doesn't need to remain face-up on the field. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 22:30, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
