Forum:Guardian Deck Help?

The Guardian cards first interested me when I saw them in Dark Crisis. I was looking through my cards and found these cards again. I also remembered that Rafael used it to beat Yugi. So I need help making an effective Guardian deck. My friends laugh at me for trying to accomplish this, but I feel that I can do it. And Yes I know Butterfly Dagger is banned...

FYI: Guardians have to be summoned when the equip card is on the field. So if someone attack the monster and it is flipped, it is not summoned. This works for Ceasefire too.

I actually made a demo but I am afraid people will copy some of my ideas. Here are the basic cards needed for the deck.

Well, if you're using one banned card, why not use some more, Pot of Greed, Graceful Charity, would help to get the equips/monsters you need at same time faster, Premature Burial is an equip, which revives from grave, giving targets to equip the prior weapon to, to summon the next, Hidden Armory, while allowable at 3, searches for equip spells, Also, Power Tool Dragon might be an idea to try & fit in-Resk (talk • contribs) 12:01, January 30, 2011 (UTC)

I know of Hidden Armory, it is a pretty good card. The only thing is that you need huge beatsticks like Guardian Grarl or Maha Vailo to stall until then. Hidden Armory leaves you open, but you can use cards like Red-Eyes Wyvern when using that card. I only use Butterfly Dagger - Elma in Traditional duels.

To get Elma on the field, I guess I will use Ceasefire or The Spell Absorbing Life, to flip them up without flip summon.

Power Tool Dragon is a good synchro monster, allowing me to get some Equips I want faster. Trust Guardian would be a good card here to make sure I do not get my Power Tool Dragon destroyed by battle. Power Break is another good card if I am using Power Tool.

What I really need are cards that get my monsters out of the Graveyard because summoning Eatos is Priority. Using Equip cards to destroy your opponent's graveyard is pretty awesome.

Equip Cards

Okay, thanks to your help, I added Armed Changer and Blast with Chain as good cards to help my strategy. Mage Power and Fighting Spirit, I just added to make my monsters more fiercesome. Tailor of the Fickle is a good card as well since Backup Gardna does not exist yet.

Monsters

Okay, I had found some tuners like Trust Guardian to help me with my strategy. Power Tool Dragon helps get through my deck faster. I had found more cards like Maha Vailo that gain attack from Equip Cards. And more cards like Eatos that can destroy cards or remove them from the graveyard. To get more cards from my graveyard, I put Gilford the Legend to get most of my Equips out.

Traps

Okay, I added Royal Decree so cards like Sakuretsu Armor or Draining Shield cannot be activated.
