Better support cards for gladiator beast

  • Gladiator Beast Thracian
  • LV 3
  • WInd
  • Beast
  • Monster/Effect
  • ATK-1400/DEF-1400
  • Effect-"Once per turn, you can remove any gladiator beast in your deck or graveyard to treated this card's name as the remove gladiator beast's name. The remove monster will be added into the deck on your next stand by phase.Other than normal summoned and flip summoned, you cannot activate this effect. When this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Gladiator Beast" monster, you can target one card on the field to flip it face down.If this card attacked or was attacked, you can return it from the field to the Deck at the end of the Battle Phase to Special Summon 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster from your Deck, except "Gladiator Beast Thracian".

. I also using the gladiator beast deck.Sometime i would feel not enough if is just all the way of fusion the gladiator beast beastiari wif other gladiator beast to tag out beast gladiator gyzarus again and againAce & Joker

I think they should add this GB. I love the GB's, they are my favorite deck. There are very few cards for GB's, so they should add more as they please, and i hope they do. Plus, its not like GB's are the strongest monsters out there, they are actually pretty weak, and to get out the stronger ones, takes time. Two strong ones can only be summoned with one GB, and the third one returns to the deck if you attack with it unless you discard. I honestly hope they add this monster to GB's as soon as they can. They need to add more monsters, spells, and traps. Also, you can complain about GB's too bad, if you know you are going to go up against a GB deck, put in alot of cards that negate attacks, because GB's depend on getting attacked or attacking, so if you put negate attacks, half or nothing, or stuff like that, you can stop the attacks and stop the player from tagging out. Plus, put divine wraths in your deck, you can activate those to stop us from special summoning from the deck. There are many ways to stop a GB deck, best ways are to use Vanity's Ruler and Vanity's Fiend, stops special summoning all together, or cactus bouncer, they all stop special summoning. Also, aliens, use alien overlord to add A-counters to everything and then have alien mars on the field to negate all effects the GB's have, including them being able to tag out. Come on people, think outside the box, there are many ways to stop a GB deck, so stop complaining about them. Decks are just cards, it just depends on which ones you have, and how you use them.

How about no! Rescue Cat is ridiculous enough, and now you want it to search for something that is basically a Elemental Hero Prisma?! Sorry bro, not on my watch. Glads don't need another 3 star BEAST.--Helix-king 22:37, February 24, 2010 (UTC)

Not to mention the abuse this thing could recieve with Test Tiger.--Akiza Izayoi 23:32, February 24, 2010 (UTC)

Oh so decks like Lightsworn aren't broken? 82.24.97.177 01:29, February 25, 2010 (UTC)

Honestly, I think it's actually pretty good as they go. Not sure how you'd use its tagging effect, but the Prisma one is pretty good. Of course, it seems like this would take out Bestiari for the rest of the game (they should really semi it). Runer5h 01:45, February 25, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

Actually, they're not. You're referring to the card known as Judgment Dragon, which is barely broken. a Lightsworn deck needs to rely on what they mill, and sometimes that doesn't work out for the better. In addition, they lost 3 cards to the Limited list in the upcoming format.--Akiza Izayoi 01:46, February 25, 2010 (UTC)

No offence...

GB's dont need squat! The deck does just fine with the way it is now. They have some many support cards in terms of Trap and spell that they are fine just the way they are. Why the hell should they get more support? If you run GB's and think they need more support because you are losing then you are running the WRONG type of GB's --TheDivineDuelist 09:37, February 25, 2010 (UTC)

This belongs in here. But still, GBs have hit their maximum potential. There is no point in producing more support without either having this support looked over, or horribly breaking the archetype. --Gadjiltron 13:01, February 25, 2010 (UTC)

Oh,I see

So tell me wat kind of magic or trap cards that you can imagine to support the gladiator beast?... Ace & Joker

GB's don't need anything fancy and confusing like that, GB's need a way to get their RFP Bestiari back. Like an Equeste for removed cards. Falzar FZ 09:07, February 27, 2010 (UTC)

  • There's no need for that, even. GBs are also adapting to include DD variants, which can solve problems to RFP. --Gadjiltron 00:06, February 28, 2010 (UTC)

how bout no more gladiater beasts?

there already overpowered enough <_<

Really people?? overpowered? Not really? they need certain monsters to do certains things, well guess what, just because you can't beat them doesn't mean they are overpowered! think about it, everybody says there are too many GB items, and too many support cards.... There are, what..., nearly 300 Elemental hero cards and doesnt seem to have anybody complaining about them, so if you want to complain about there being too many cards, go complain about the elemental heroes and stop complaining about cards like the gladiator beast just because they are good, look awesome, and hard to beat, just stop fn complaining

Gladiator beasts have alot of support as it is, they have there own rota, war chariot which is easy to re use, wabokus, shrinks, they can adapt to RFP strategys and there not that graveyard reliant. 92.22.70.24 15:13, March 1, 2010 (UTC)

Glads are already overpowered, if not the strongest deck atm

Bestari and Gyzarus spamming already makes this deck overpowered, on its own. If Gyzarus gets banned, then Glad beast will be much more balanced. I personally find Laquari and Gyzarus enough to make this deck overpowered, I think Glads should be next in the banlist.

They shouldn't hit the ban list. This game already has so much anti-support there is no need to slow them down more that limiting Bestiari to 1. And don't say "Ah, why should I change my deck to deal with them?" well why should they change theirs, especialy when...wait for it... there is so much anti-support. Just use Divine Wrath and call it a day.--Helix-king 06:46, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

It's enough. They don't need any more support. You are going to spoil the crap out of them and they already have enough support to last them a lifetime. So don't. Please. The world loves gladiator beast and so do you so stop and please put this in the card idea forum. I forgot the title but it's in the wiki discussion. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 05:42, June 27, 2010 (UTC)

I have heard that Kevin Tewart on Pojo has confirmed the release of a new Gladiator Beast support card as a TCG exclusive in DREV. They don't need anymore support, but I will accept any new GB card. I hope it is not too broken, though. -bewk 02:32, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

I bet the people who hate gladiator beasts will hope to get it broken. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 05:42, July 1, 2010 (UTC)

How about No?

what on earth makes you think Gladiator Beasts need support? Ever? NOT FrogtheJam (talkcontribs) 22:12, September 10, 2010 (UTC)

Same here. I wonder why they want to make Six Samurai support. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 23:42, September 10, 2010 (UTC)

Well they could make cards that non pro GB's user would use just like how they did with BW...I just wanna see more GB's!!!Makin me go crazy!!!!!

Who knows? Maybe Gladiator Beasts are as good as they already are. Swapping is really new and that's why they left it there. I hope they make new supports too for GB but I have a feeling that it's not going to happen. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 05:18, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

yeah, ur right...gb's support are finished but i would love to see more:D

Hm..... yeah your right. I like to see more too. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 21:58, September 26, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry but yes

I think with blackwings, and x-sabers getting support, that they should get more support. Glads, may have been broken as they got there good support, but the weren't a otk deck. For instance, blackwings had a boss monster dad, and several otks with gale, kalut, and darkstrike fighter. Infernitys had a search able otk, and if you opened up with a bad hand you lost against it. And frog ftk, was a surprise, no comment there. And finally x sabers, glads have 3 rotas, x sabers have a spamable rota, easy back row destruction, better card than war chariot, saber hole. Broken and untouched, hand control loop. Also they can swarm, and then otk. Any comments or are my points all making people frustrated?

They should at least make. GB honest/kalut cuz that would also help the deck:D just sucks to know that gb's have't got anything new for bout a year now:(

Please sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~), or just press the sig button when posting on the forums. Yeah but, I think if anything, let alone Glads got an Honest for themselves, they would rise up to far and destroy too much. If they got their own Honest, I think some more stuff would be hit...BassNettoHikari2...Chat Page... 14:26, October 5, 2010 (UTC)

A lot of stuff but it doesn't mean it could be a glad honest. It should be some kind of Gorz or Kuriboh Glad. That would be cool. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 22:57, October 5, 2010 (UTC)

They already have Lanista =D

Well, they have a new member, GB Lanista, I heard that it could be treated as Bestiari while face-up, so it means ... AHHHHHH ! Gyzarus !!! UltraSynchron (talkcontribs) 02:23, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

Generally, sources say it's either going to be:

"While this card is face-up on the field, this card's name is treated as "Gladiator Beast Bestiari". When this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Gladiator Beast" monster, you can return 1 card on the field to its owner's hand. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card attacked or was attacked, you can return it to the Deck to Special Summon 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster from your Deck, except "Gladiator Beast Lanista"."

or

"When this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a [Gladiator Beast] monster, you can select 1 [Gladiator Beast] monster from your Graveyard and remove it from play. Until the End Phase, this card's name becomes the name of the monster you remove from play. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card attacked or was attacked, you can return it to the Deck to Special Summon 1 [Gladiator Beast] monster from your Deck, except [Gladiator Beast Lanista]."

People these days sure have good imaginations, don't you think? Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 03:42, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

Oh? And when does this come out? STBL TCG Exclusive?|DED((Leaving Me Messages Are Often Left Here) 20:14, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

Gladiator Beast Lanista is from V-Jump Edition 3-Resk (talkcontribs) 22:00, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

Anybody know if V-Jump comes out in America? Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 22:11, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

It should eventually come out as a Secret Rare in a year or 2, similar to Fabled Raven who was released in one of those packs-Resk (talkcontribs) 22:51, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

Wait V-Jump can be Secret Rare? Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 00:25, October 12, 2010 (UTC)

Not in the original JP one (OCG), but when they get brought over to TCG, they often seem to be secret, such as Fabled Raven and other ones I can't remember.-Resk (talkcontribs) 08:06, October 12, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, and I just feel I should point out, that the v-jump special packs were formally the Limited Edition Pack 1 -> Limited Edition Pack 17.-Resk (talkcontribs) 08:09, October 12, 2010 (UTC)

I wonder why the change in title. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 13:27, October 12, 2010 (UTC)

Gladiator Beast Essedari

And now we're about to get a TCG exclusive one, Gladiator Beast Essedari

EARTH, Level 5
Beast? / Fusion / Effect
From the length of the line, I think it says: "2 Gladiator Beast Monsters"
From the length of the lore, I don't think it has a 'tag out' effect, nor does it have a "This card can only be Special Summoned... by returning the above cards... "
Any guesses for the effect?
From the length of the lore, I think the effect is something like: "When this card is Special Summoned, you can set 1 "Gladiator Beast War Chariot" from your Deck or Graveyard."
OR:
Beast? / Fusion / Tuner
This card can only be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck by returning the above cards you control to the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization".)
-Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 11:11, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

i don't think essedari is a tuner, i think gb's are fine without synchro's, either way a 5 star tuner wouldn't do that well in a gb deck. i think the effect may be the war chariot thing, but you could also choose to bring out a gb monster instead, so basically when he summoned either summon a gb from your deck or set down a war chariot, that'd be pretty awesome. 69.234.102.211 (talk) 23:45, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

turns out essedari has no effect, greeeaaat. he's pretty much useless, UNLESS, gladiator beast's get a tuner or something like that 69.234.102.211 (talk) 04:11, February 17, 2011 (UTC)

Well, it was kinda expected, as Konami has already trolled us with two new useless GBs... though I was expecting a 'Third times the charm' effect... -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 06:57, February 17, 2011 (UTC)

Custom Gladiator Beast Cards

Just Cuz I felt like it. :P I personally think that Glad Beasts dont need any more support as new cards will be coming out anyway. Besides, they got over the banning of rescue cat, found strenght with Fissures and E-Heroes, and must now face the new format in which most players will now go for Bookless Glads (something I'm trying out myself). Glad beasts are adaptable and able to change with the flow of the battle depnding on what kind of sides you slap in the Side deck. Still, for fun, I made these! :D Pick ur favorites, look at them well. I've made some amazing comboes with these cards...and there are a few that I think would either be limited or banned all together.

1.) Gladiator Beast Natuox LV4 EARTH Beast-Warrior/Effect ATK/DEF: 1700/600 If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of a Gladiator Beast monster, draw 1 card. At the end of the battle phase, if this card attacked or was attacked, you can return it to the Deck to Special Summon 1 “Gladiator Beast” monster from your Deck except “Gladiator Beast Natuox”.

2.) Gladiator Beast Kaiaura LV3 WIND Winged-Beast/Effect ATK/DEF: 1300/1200 If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of a “Gladiator Beast” monster, add 1 removed from play card to your hand. At the end of the battle phase, if this card attacked or was attacked, you can return it to the Deck to Special Summon 1 “Gladiator Beast” monster from your Deck except “Gladiator Beast Kaiaura”.

3.) Gladiator Beast Rampus LV4 DARK Fiend/Effect ATK/DEF: 1400/1500 If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of a “Gladiator Beast” monster, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards until the End Phase. At the end of the battle phase, if this card attacked or was attacked, you can return it to the Deck to Special Summon 1 “Gladiator Beast” monster from your Deck except “Gladiator Beast Rampus”.

4.) Test Wolf LV2 EARTH Beast/Effect ATK/DEF: 500/200 This card can be Special Summoned during your opponent’s turn while you control 2 or more face-up “Gladiator Beast” monsters. You can tribute this card during your opponent’s turn to Select and Special Summon a “Gladiator Beast” Fusion or Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck by returning the Material Monsters listed on the selected Fusion or Synchro Monster from your side of the field to your Deck.

5.) Test Bear LV3 EARTH Beast/Effect ATK/DEF: 700/400 This card can be Special Summoned while you control a face-up “Gladiator Beast” Monster you control. You can tribute this card to Special Summon a “Gladiator Beast” monster from your Deck. The summoned monster’s effects are negated until the End Phase of this turn.

(Test Bear is probably OPed....but meh)

6.) Gladiators vs…! Trap Activate only while you control a “Gladiator Beast” monster. Negate the effects of all your opponent’s monsters until the End Phase of this turn. You cannot Special Summon “Gladiator Beast” monsters from your Extra Deck this turn.

7.) Gladiator Counter Tactics Counter Trap If a face-up “Gladiator Beast” monster(s) would be destroyed by a card’s effect, negate that card’s effect and destroy it.

8.) Gladiator Beast’s Armory Continuous Spell Once per turn, you can add 1 “Gladiator Beast” Equip Spell from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. You cannot activate that Spell Card this turn.

9.) Rescue Tag! Trap Activate only while your opponent declares an attack and while you control a face-up “Gladiator Beast” monster. Send 1 “Gladiator Beast” monster you control to your Deck and Special Summon 1 “Gladiator Beast” monster that has a different name as the monster you sent to the Deck. The monster Summoned by this effect is treated as if it were Summoned by the effect of a “Gladiator Beast” monster.

(I like this card...wish it was real. Could be useful and a flexible game changer in many ways.)

10.) Gladiator Beast Rampant LV6 DARK Fiend/Fusion/Effect ATK/DEF: 2300/1400 “Gladiator Beast Rampus” + 1 “Gladiator Beast” monster This card can only be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck by returning the above cards you control to the Deck (you do not use Polymerization). When this card is Special Summoned, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards or their effects until the End Phase of this turn. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card attacked or was attacked, you can return this card to the Extra Deck to Special Summon 2 “Gladiator Beast” monsters from your Deck except “Gladiator Beast Rampus”.

11.) Gladiator Beast Anuk LV7 EARTH Beast-Warrior/Fusion/Effect ATK/DEF: 2600/2200 “Gladiator Beast Andal” + 1 “Gladiator Beast” monster This card can only be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck by returning the above cards you control to the Deck (you do not use Polymerization). While this card is face-up on the field, negate the effects of your opponent’s monster on their side of the field and Graveyard. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card attacked or was attacked, you can return this card to the Extra Deck to Special Summon 2 “Gladiator Beast” monsters from your Deck except “Gladiator Beast Andal”.

(With all the Grave effects and field control...I think this card is gonna pack a heavy punch, probably landing it in the banned list >.<)

12.) Gladiator Beast Retiaura LV8 LIGHT Fiend/Fusion/Effect ATK/DEF: 2600/2400 “Gladiator Beast Kaiaura” + “Gladiator Beast Retiari” + 1 “Gladiator Beast” monster This card can only be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck by returning the above cards you control to the Deck (you do not use Polymerization). Once per turn, you can return 1 “Gladiator Beast” monster from your Graveyard to your Deck or discard 1 card to remove from play 1 card on the field or Graveyard OR return 1 removed from play card to its respective owner’s Graveyard.

(Good with fissure Glads. :))

13.) Gladiator Beast Barrok LV9 LIGHT Beast-Warrior/Fusion/Effect ATK/DEF: 3000/3000 3 “Gladiator Beast” monsters with different types This card can only be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck by returning the above cards you control to the Deck (you do not use Polymerization). This card gains the effects of 2 of the above monsters that were used to Special Summon this card. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card attacked or was attacked, you can return this card to the Extra Deck to Special Summon 1 “Gladiator Beast” monster from your Deck except any of the 3 “Gladiator Beast” monsters used to Special Summon this card.

14.) Combo Tag! Trap Reveal 1 “Gladiator Beast” Fusion or Synchro Monster in your Extra Deck. Send the appropriate Fusion or Synchro Material Monsters from your side of the field to your Deck and Special Summon the revealed monster from your Extra Deck.

(This is more like a "feint" card. They think you're gonna tag out during that same turn for something, and you just set. They do their stuff, attak into bestiari or something and boom! "Combo Tag!" Gyzarus and pop 2 cards on the field! :P that'll be a slap in the face :D)

15.) Gladiator Beast Gunthor LV3 EARTH Beast/Tuner ATK/DEF: 1200/800 If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of a “Gladiator Beast” monster, Special Summon 1 level 3 or lower “Gladiator Beast” Monster from either player’s Graveyard. Its effects are negated. You can increase or decrease the Special Summoned Monster’s level by 1 until the End Phase of this turn. At the end of the battle phase, if this card attacked or was attacked, you can return it to the Deck to Special Summon 1 “Gladiator Beast” monster from your Deck except “Gladiator Beast Gunthor”.

16.) Gladiator Beast Jugantos LV7 EARTH Beast-Warrior/Synchro/Effect ATK/DEF: 2500/2300 1 Tuner Monster + 1 “Gladiator Beast” Monster Whenever this card destroys a Monster by battle, add 1 “Gladiator Beast” card from your Deck to your hand.

Enjoy ;)
