Forum:I am going to my first Hobby Leauge Tournament

Yes I am, and I need help. I was thinking of taking two decks, possibly three, but I am going to list the two or three here, and I would like some input on it. I have played a free play before, and I did okay with these cards, but never in an official tournament.

Any thoughts or modifications would be greatly appreciated. Focus primarily on my Zombie Deck, as I feel that is my best one.

Here are the possible 3 decks that I am taking:

That is my main one, and it is the one I would like to focus on. Any modifications need to be mentioned before Saturday, as that is the tournament date.

• I made some modifications to the deck, replacing a The Trojan Horse with Bone Crusher I will post on my results at the tournament when I get back.

If limited on time, just do the Zombie Deck, as that is probably the one that I am going to use more then the other two. Any Help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

ok well,

3 decks is alot to think about, trust me i know... i always have 2-3 decks i want to play with at events like that.

first, Dino decks are cool, but hard to work with when u play against Monarchs or even Synchro Monsters, the plant deck i can help some with only cuz i run one as well so i will tell u the good and bad about that deck that i learned the hard way.

1) Ivy Shackles works AWESOMELY with Fragrance Storm cuz on ur turn the other players monsters are plants, so u can pop of of his and draw some more cards....

2) Wall of Thorns is like a Mirror Force for plants only... so i'd run 3 of then...

but the plants are some times slow cuz u really need spells and traps for them cuz they aren't great on there own so ur monster count is low...

now your Zombies... my bro runs one but i made it for him so lets see well, i think you should make the Tune Warriors Junk Synchrons only cuz, if u have any other low lvl monsters (your other tuners) you can get them back again and now u have a 3 and a 2or1 tuner out so u can make more synchro monsters.

next i don't see why u have a trojan horse in there.... i think maybe something like another Paladin of the Cursed Dragon would be more helpful to you.

and just as i side note Hyper Synchron will help you if you make a stardust dragon with zombie world out because he will be a zombie u son't lose him to Hyper Synchron's effect

and just a note, when i have more then one deck i want to play, i get someone to play with only they use my deck and we keep going till we find the best one. then i use that one

The Trojan Horse is in there just in case I have it on the field with Red Ogre in my hand one tribute instead of two. I will see about putting in some Junk Synchrons and I don't have any Hyper Synchrons.

Zombie deck is way better you should have 3 zombie masters and have 3 il bluds (if you dont have ill blud you not going to win) ru koko whatever is good in a side deck.and no lady in weight.add 3 call of the mummyies and 3 book of life and no terraforming just add another zombie world--Gyzarus 01:26, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Ok what do you recomend for your replacements.

Gyzarus, I don't have any Il Blud but am in the process of getting some. I have seen some of your other modifications, and that makes sense, for the terraforming, but I would have to get another Zombie World but list your other modifications and I will see what I can do.

I won a couple of matches, using the Zombie Deck, but that is all. Thanks for your help all of you, and as stated previously, I will entertain any and all suggestions.
