I've also considered the cards Soul Rope, Lightning Vortex, Snipe Hunter, and Threatening Roar. I'm looking for a way to improve this deck without spending a huge amount of money. By improvement, I mean ways to make this run faster, include more versatile cards, etc. Any suggestions will help, thanks. Mousepad (talk • contribs) 02:36, September 29, 2010 (UTC)
I don't know allot about quillbolt decks other than the fact that its a burn deck, so I would suggest adding in stall spells and traps such as Level Limit - Area B, The Dark Door, Thunder of Ruler, Threatening Roar, Waboku, and Messenger of Peace. Hope I helped. --DeaththeKid
I ran a quillbolt deck for quite a while, and how about you try a couple Cyber Dragons in there, and a Future Fusion. They can out the deck in a bit more forceful deck. And if you want to go that route, you can add in couple more machines. Foolish Burial is also a great way of dumping Quillbolt...BassNettoHikari2...Chat Page... 15:00, September 29, 2010 (UTC)

I've tried to edit this deck to make it more "tunable", but does increasing the card count to 45 really make my deck that much worse? --Mousepad (talk • contribs) 02:56, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
You might want to use Toon Cannon Soldier and Toon Table of Contents instead of the normal one, due to searchability & deck thinning-213.123.215.233 (talk) 13:12, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
If you're building an OTK Deck, keep this in mind: you cannot mix other strategies, and your deck must be 40 cards. That being said, your monsters should consist of 3 Giant Rats, 3 Quillbolts, 3 Psychic Commanders (or another EARTH tuner searched by giant rat) 3 Cannon Soldiers, 3 Junk Synchrons, Sangan, and any other tuners you can fit. For spells, 3 Mass Drivers are good, I suggest 3 Upstart Goblin, since the loop is infinite. You should ahve Monster Reborn, Ultimate Offering (or 2), 3 Imperial Iron Walls, a CotH and/or Limit Reverse/Graceful revival, and possibly a ROTA. Reasoning and Monster Gate should also be used. Also, if you have room, add Burial from a Different Dimension.

Drew is correct in general, but you should go for Toon Cannon Soldier instead of Cannon Soldier as searchable by Toon Table of Contents as well-82.11.145.109 (talk) 18:47, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
