A while back I posted a few Ultimate Baseball Kid based decks, and well... they were pretty awful...

Finally after a long time, I've combined the Powerful attack pottential of Ultimate Baseball kid with the field swarming potential of the Jurrac engine! Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcom to Jurrasic Ballpark! *Jurrasic Park theme*

It's actually a pretty good deck, and uses UBK sort of as a replacement for the usual Jurrac Boss monsters that would take 2 or more sacs just to get out. I also really like to use Jurrac Giganoto in mid to late game, since he can usually give my other jurracs about +1000 by the time I bring him out.

In older versions of the deck I used cards like DNA Transplant to gain attack from my opponent, but I quickly realized that it was not only a dead draw, but it was much too slow when I actually pulled it.

one or two problems I run into occasionally are monsters that can't be destroyed by battle (thus making it impossible to get Guaiba's effect) and something that destroys by card effect (like Catastor). The deck just doesn't have enough destruction to reliably take care of them, so it's a pretty constant problem (especially considering how many decks use Catastor in their extra deck...).

So, Thoughts? Suggestions? Questions?

Card you get any Forbidden Chalice? It can be used on Catastor during the Damage Step. I wouldn't suggest Shrink - try Forbidden Lance instead. You can also replace My Body with it. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 16:42, October 26, 2011 (UTC)

I'll consider Forbidden lance, though many of my monsters have trouble running things over as it is (thus why I use shrink). also, I know a few people who do referee stuff sometimes, and they say I can't My body Catastor. Thanks. Adam Stachowiak (talk • contribs) 16:47, October 26, 2011 (UTC)

That's why you should use Forbidden Chalice. It negates Catastor's effect during the declare attackers step (or during the Damage Step, but by then it's too late). As for Forbidden Lance vs Shrink, Lance should allow you to run over anything up to Monarchs and tie with Stardust, which is pretty good, but it also protects your monsters from a Dark Hole or Torrential Tribute. I meant to say that I would consider Forbidden Challice, and that if I used it to negate Catastor's effect It make him tough to run over in this deck. I should also consider Lance though, so yeah. It would definitely be nice not to worry about stuff like Mirror force, and Torrential, but Shrink already takes care of High attack monsters even better than Forbidden Chalice does.

I meant Lance over Shrink, not Chalice. Chalice negates the effects, specifically of Catastor but of anything else too, while giving 400 ATK. I meant to use Lance over Shrink. Also, I'd suggest it over My Body as a Shield because it doesn't cost Life Points. BF2 Talk Deck Guides

I know, I mistyped a couple of times, and I think it got us both confused. I was just saying that if I used Chalice it would be difficult to get over something with that high of an attack in this deck without a beefed up UBK, or using Giganotor's effect. I can see swapping Shrink for Lance easy enough, but at the same time, Shrink can deal with 2500+ attack monsters as well, whereas Lance only does so much. 98.246.81.53 (talk) 18:10, October 26, 2011 (UTC)
