Why is Kaiba so obsessed with the "power" of the Egyptian God Cards when he has freaking Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End in his deck!? 99.162.190.65 (talk) 23:22, February 20, 2012 (UTC)

Because they are stronger.--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 02:04, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

It's probably more of a "it's always greener on the other side" thing.
If a child has a ball they'll play happily with it, if they see another child with a different ball they'll want that one paying no attention to their own.
But he owns the game, couldn't he just print out the cards?

Helix, then why is Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End banned while the Egyptian Gods are unlimited? Even though they got nerfed from the anime, the anime ones still needed three tributes to be worthwhile. 99.162.190.65 (talk) 11:47, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

Because they have better effects in the anime hurr durr--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 15:31, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

If Kaiba were to spit out CED and nuke the field and hand, it leaves him and his opponent even in fields and hand (not necessarily LP). Knowing the Yugioh anime, if the opponent manages to survive the sheer damage by burn, they will mirror the protagonists' turnaround, and topdeck their own hax card to pound him to the ground, with him nigh-defenseless against it. Better off going for the near-invincible God that will almost always stick around to see the duel to its end. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 14:02, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

That wouldn't work, Yugi would just draw all 5 pieces of Exodia next turn.
I swear he stacks. Damn cheater.

Weevil threw out his Exodia parts waaaaaaaaay back. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 14:06, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

That and it was only time Yugi/Atem ever used Exodia, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back at that first episode where he fought for his grandfather. --FredCat 14:15, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

>But he owns the game, couldn't he just print out the cards?

>implying Kaiba is Pegasus

Good joke there. Lord Grammaticus (talkcontribs) 14:16, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

Kaiba doesn't own the game, Pegasus does. As for the cards, the Gods are more dramatic than CED because of the fact that they are "God Cards" and require three tributes. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 18:10, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

And they are experiencing the past incarnation... like Seto being Priest, Yugi's alternate being Pharaoh, etc. --FredCat 19:19, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

Sorry it's been a while since I've seen the Anime, I remember hearing Pegasus die and Kaiba taking over with Kaiba Corp.123.211.144.181 (talk) 08:40, February 22, 2012 (UTC)
