Forum:May Featured Card

I think the next featured card needs to be Kamenleon, I know that it's a few months away from a TCG release, but my god the card is like amazing.

  • For example, it can single handedly give you a reason to run King Feral Imp in a Gogogo deck, as Gogogo Giant and Gogogo Ghost both have 0 DEF. Zombie Master has 0 DEF too.
  • Brings back a Steelswarm Monster.
  • Can bring back most of the Atlantean monsters.
  • Works with some Cloudian Monsters.
  • We can finally do something cool with the Goblin cards.
  • Photon Thrasher and Photon Crusher say high after being used for whatever.
  • Umbral Monsters were kinda interesting anyway, but now this card too?
  • He's a Level 4 Tuner.

I honestly think Kamenleon would be a cool card to write an article about, and he obviously has a ton of material to use in his article. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:19, April 21, 2013 (UTC)

Although other suggestions are welcome too. I only suggested Kamenleon because there's a bunch to do with him, and the Wiki's translations are usually spot on. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:22, April 21, 2013 (UTC)
  1. @#$ EDIT CONFLICT
Unfortunate, he made most of effect that reviving from the Graveyard (beside himself) jacked up and broke into haywire mode. So just get him to Overlaying "Number 39: Utopia" and go "Number C39: Utopia Ray" and kick some asses. --iFredCat 14:23, April 21, 2013 (UTC)

"Kameleon" has the potential to be a overused card (and I'm going to use it :) so it's a good idea to talk about all of its possible combos before its release. Another option I'm thinking is "Mecha Phantom Beast Drago-Sack", because it's already a useful card (like the previous Featured Cards) and follow the Attributes (Mermail's WATER -> Fire Formation's FIRE -> Mecha PB's WIND). --Missign0 (talkcontribs) 03:24, April 22, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah it's going to be overused, if I can think of 4 ways to use it by going to a card database of 0 DEF, monsters, then we have a problem. Although the good thing is that it's a somewhat balanced card. It's useless if you already have a strong monster on the field, and you can't use it if you've summoned other monsters during the turn. It's basically a Heroic Challenger - Double Lance expect a little more useable. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:48, April 22, 2013 (UTC)
A good idea this time around is for me and Missign0 to both write card articles. It's probably more prudent to have an article about Drago for May and then talk about Kameleon a little later in the month. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:51, April 22, 2013 (UTC)
Well, I'm not a writer, so if you or other user want to start an article I can help with some tips :) --Missign0 (talkcontribs) 02:47, April 26, 2013 (UTC)
Give me some tips now, that way I actually have material to write about, since I'm not really familiar with the complete usefulness of Sack. I know why he's useful, but still need some more stuff. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:37, April 27, 2013 (UTC)
  • Ok, the highlights of this card are:
  • There's no restriction to the Xyz Materials, so any Deck that have access to Level 7 monsters can summon it (like Karakuri, who are also Machines, and Harpies, who are also WIND, Mermails, etc).
  • It summons two Mecha Phantom Beast Tokens at time, for more field advantage. Any token will protect it from destruction, and it can Tribute any Token to destroy a card (no Xyz Materials are necessary for this, you can summon it from the Graveyard and still use that effect).
  • And of course, the Incarnate/Dracossack/LaDD combo - the most used Deck in the OCG.
  • Its artwork can also add some material. It shows "Mecha Phantom Beast Warburan", who along the two Tokens can Synchro Summon "Mecha Phantom Beast Warburan" (Level 7, so it can summon another Dracossack).

"Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack" seems like a weak choice, if I'm honest. There's really not all that much to say.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 07:44, April 28, 2013 (UTC)
Do you have a card idea that could be better? I mean I think Chamenleon could work, but it's a little early to write an article about it. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 18:23, April 28, 2013 (UTC)
