Created this deck for someone on DFF. Destroys monsters on field to SS Granel. Also searches for him.

Meklord OTK

Tell me what you guys think. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 01:38, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

Chances of getting Morale Boost, Flint, and two Flint Lock are a bit low. May I suggest an Shining Angel to search for Flint Lock? Or at least another Morale Boost (with no way to search for it and a good chance that it's destroyed three is necessary for the loop). It may seem odd...but perhaps Cyber Eltanin would work. Once you're done with your Flint Locks/Cyber Dragon, you can destroy all monsters on the field and Special Summon it. This could let you Special Summon Granel or just get rid of troublesome monsters en masse. Perhaps a Trap Stun or two would be useful as they could easily make the OTK work.BobaFett2 (talk)

lmaoooooo

That merklord thing Is extremly retardedly super broken lmaoooooo it gains half of your life points and even has a snatch steal effect against synchro monsters plus it gains attack of that monster...and its summoning condition is pretty simple to once a monster on the field gets destroyed by a effect special from your hand -_- ...what if I special him at the start of the duel 4000 beater really now... But back to the topic I think your putting to much work into that card.. All those cards aren't 100 percent needed to otk with him . His effect alone is threatening *cough*take control of shooting star* ;)....*take control of stardust dragon special glow up bulb special stardust to your side of the field sync for formula draw and end turn :/ ....now does that sound cool... Sorry if I'm rambelling but you need to understand this card can change a whole duel sooooooo easily only thing its pretty situational :P .....O_O I'm suppose to be talking about your deck I actually like it but just like boba said you have a pretty low chance of pulling this combo off .. Oh by the way my profile name is ttevin7 couldn't sign in I'm on my cell phone :P

Nothing "retarded" (slow) about it.

His crazy power comes with a downside as well. He doesn't work late in the game and if you use Solemn Warning/Judgment you can't use him effectively. The Meklord Emperor Wisel isn't necessarily as good but it's far more "stable".BobaFett2 (talk)

Problem is that, the Decks for free requester wants Granel, and a way to increase his LP, and I'm kinda stuck... --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 12:34, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah. The other loop for LP I can think of requires attacking (far too risky) without using Trap Stun which means that they'll be without defense against all the cards. Namely, this is the Ragigura/Rainbow Life thing. If you have Axel, you'll also get to draw a lot. It's just too easy to stop.BobaFett2 (talk)

You probably want a Limiter Removal, Shining Angel and... some Trap Stun to make it safer-Resk™ (Talk) 12:46, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

v.2

Here's Version 2. Thanks for the earlier suggestions, now tell me what you think. I cut down on some cards to try to make it work smoother. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 12:53, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

I'd suggest trying to fit in 3x Upstart Goblin & 3x Pot of Duality, so as to make it a 34 card deck, & poster didn't specifiy a budget-Resk™ (Talk) 13:22, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

He did specify no Dualities.BobaFett2 (talk)

Maybe some Good Goblin Housekeeping + Scrubbed Raid then-Resk ✩ (Talk) 13:28, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

What's the purpose of Scrubbed Raid?BobaFett2 (talk)

Works as stall, and gets Good Goblin Housekeeping to grave faster. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 13:30, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

I'd rather just use Good Goblin Housekeeping since the advantage gained/lost (in the end) is the same. It's odd...but perhaps Draining Shield? It's not a great card but the effect could power up Granel.BobaFett2 (talk)

Now that I look at it the deck looks really spell heavy. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 13:33, May 8, 2011 (UTC)
Also
  • CL1: Good Goblin Housekeeping
  • CL2: Scrubbed Raid with GGH as cost
  • Resolve
  • CL2: Negate battle phase
  • CL1: Count GGH in grave (it's 1) & resolve effect to draw 2 & return 1. (& +1 to that for every after)
-Resk ✩ (Talk) 13:33, May 8, 2011 (UTC)
Also, you need to drop 5 cards, OTKs must be 40 cards (or 37, or 34 based on budget :3)-Resk ✩ (Talk) 13:35, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

Counting Scrubbed Raid the overall is +0. Although I suppose that you are right-the defense probably prevents a loss of other advantage.BobaFett2 (talk)

-2 Mongama , +1 Angel --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 13:43, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

Don't have any more ideas of what to drop . :( Yeah this build is kinda driving me nuts. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 13:49, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

Put in your suggestions. Made it a 40 card deck(not counting deck thinners).--Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 13:57, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

I'd consider dropping the Rainbow Life for Threatening Roars, or +1 Stun & Bribe-Resk ✩ (Talk) 13:59, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

Switched. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 14:01, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

I think that should do,-Resk ✩ (Talk) 14:02, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

I have an idea! B.E.S. Big Core MK-2! One, it works kind of like Cyber Dragon (you don't get to Special Summon it but it's stronger!). Two, it's indestructable for three battles. Three, it destroys itself, allowing you to Special Summon Granel!User:BobaFettt2/sig2

It's only indestructable for 3 battles when special summoned-Resk ✩ (Talk) 14:28, May 8, 2011 (UTC)

That's even better-it gets Granel out more quickly!BobaFett2 (talk)

Already posted the deck up on DFF, because I thought it was good. And Resk's right. --Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 14:30, May 8, 2011 (UTC)
I know-I'm saying that it could be better since first you get a 2300 then you get a 4000! You could use that on your first turn. That's why I think it could be really good.BobaFett2 (talk)

Oh, I get what your saying, but that;s why I threw in the Cyber Arch's, let's you draw(possibly), and you get to throw out Granel too. If MK-2 is on the field, but Granel is not in hand you just lost a monster, -1 .--Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 14:41, May 8, 2011 (UTC)
