The rulings and tips are vauge at best, and I am attempting to redo my gf's elemental Hero Deck, pulling out the Synchro Monsters. I was just wanting to make sure that I understand the card. Say your opponent attacks a Elemental Hero Sparkman with a Dark Blade you activate Mirror Gate, you switch control of your Sparky with his Dark Blade, does that cause a replay, or does the attack have to go through, thus destroying your Sparky, and dealing the 200 pts of dmg to your opponent. Did, I resolve that card correctly.

NO replay occurs. Attack is declared, you chain mirror then cards are switched, do damage calculations and send cards to graveyard that are destroyed by battle, then switch remaining monsters. The card effect forces you to go to damage calculation. If it didn't say do damage calculations then a replay would occurs, because you have a choice to attack or to not. So in actuality, you lose your monster because you sent it to the opponent's side of the field. But, your opponent takes the battle dmg you would have taken, much like Confusion Chaff. Is that correct?
