Indeed, this is a Ninja-themed Deck. I re-submitted it because I had no critiques on it at all before (My assumption was because I kept making edits to my own Topic), so this is my 2nd try. This is what's in it right now, including an edit I made hours ago.

I decided early on to use more Traps than Spells to further exploit the effects of "Hanzo", "Upstart", and "Alchemy". I also tried fitting in "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", but I never really got to summon him(though to be fair, I had only placed one in my Deck). I'd like advice on what Traps to use and what ones to pass up, if possible.

I didn't like "Earth Armor Ninja" at first, but I can't really consider him dead weight; at worst, he will just sit in my hand until my other Ninja(s) die. I've found myself too torn to remove him or "Senior Silver Ninja", because both are supremely useful at 2 apiece.

A major flaw of this Deck time and time again is its inability to deal with stronger Monsters that I simply cannot dispatch. I liked "Fuhma Shuriken", but it was too easily destroyed, and it often did not benefit my monster(s) enough. I hate "Burden of the Mighty" as well, and it won't help me against enemy XYZ Monsters ("Relinquished" and Meklord Emperors will also be a problem), but I don't know how else to deal with this problem.

I was thinking of getting rid of "Super-Transformation" and my non-Warriors and just opting for "Solidarity", one of my favorite cards. The only downfall (if it could be considered one) was that I'd have no Monsters with an original ATK over 2500, nor any 2-Tributers, which does phaze me a bit.

What I like about "Super-Transformation" is its ability to get rid of almost any problem Monster on my enemy's side of the Field, whilst bringing out a nasty beat-stick of mine. However, I tend to draw my high-level monsters in my Hand, rendering the card useless.

Basically, I'd like advice on a more experienced master of Ninjas to help me out with this one. 'Cause who wants to see "Hanzo" get owned?

Take out Ninjitsu Decoy, Michizure, Sakuretsu Armor. Ninjitsu Freezing > Ninjitsu Decoy anytime. +2 Safe Zone and +1 Dimensional Prison instead. Also, consider using Magic Planter instead of Alchemy. The only advantage of Alchemy is that it's searchable but instead it destroys all of your Ninjitsu cards, some of which you might still want. You could go with 1 of each instead. There's a monster you can't get rid of? Activate Safe Zone, target that monster and use Magic Planter on your Safe Zone. Monster's gone and you get 2 extra cards. Also, if you use Safe Zone on White Dragon Ninja, he's pretty much undefeated.

Burden of the Mighty isn't too reliable these days. Try Forbidden Lance or Shrink instead. The ninjas already have reasonable attack, so normally you only need to get past 2 to 3 monsters that have higher attack than yours. Keep an eye out for Heroic Champion Excalibur once he comes out, unless you're not playing IRL.

You don't really need Senior Silver Ninja since he's mostly for flip ninja decks. Since you seem to love Hanzo, you could try using Call of the Haunted as well, summoning Hanzo back then you have another one of your lovely continuous traps! If you seem to be able to get White Dragon Ninja out consistently, another continuous trap would be Vanity's Emptiness. Though in this format, many decks have backrow removal so you might want to be careful. Add one more Alchemy or Magic Planter if you always have too many continuous traps.

edit : Also, for your extra deck you could look at Adreus, Keeper of Armageddon, Tiras, Keeper of Genesis and Number 61: Volcasaurus which are all strong rank 5 monsters, 2 of which can help destroy any of your opponent's monsters.

-1 tyrano +1 galaxy eyes since GEPD can free itself from super trans. LG talk My own Guides 15:36, April 24, 2012 (UTC)

Ok I've run Ninjas for a very long time so I've come to know what works and what doesn't.

Straight off the bat I can see that you're trying to run two very different ninja decks together. A Super Trans deck and an Armor Ninja deck. Sadly from experience these two decks don't work well at all together. So you'll need to decide if you want to head more down the Super Trans route or the pure Armor Ninja route.

Either way though you don't need to run Goe Goe the Gallant Ninja as frankly his effect needing Ebisu on the field makes him useless in most situations.

I'll start with a competent Super Trans deck, which I've also added in the normal Trans for better options.

It's worth noting that you can also add a side deck to this deck which changes it from a beatdown deck into a field lock deck by using King Tiger Wanghu, Burden of the Mighty and Armor Ninjitsu Art of Rust Mist. Otherwise though don't bother with Burden.

As for everything in it, it's running the standard warrior toolbox of RotA and WRA for obvious reasons. Dark Simorgh was added due to his easy ability to be summoned by either the standard Transformation (which can summon from hand) and by banishing either Hanzo, or another Dark Simorgh and Ebisu, or Blade Armor Ninja. Tyranno has been switched out for GEPD as GEPD makes Tyrannos presence in the deck redundant, it's worth nothing at this point that if you run any number of White Dragon Ninja then you need to run Photon Sanctuarys (which can also SS GEPD) as otherwise you risk drawing White Dragon Ninja and NEVER being able to summon her. The Photon Thrashers also make this deck a lot more consistent, being able to SS them when you have an empty field is a very big life saver and makes it easy to tribute them for Senior Silver Ninja. Even so you should never run more than one Senior Silver Ninja as he is still very difficult to summon. Duplication can be used to stop a card from being destroyed as well as being an easy way to SS Hanzo and get another Ninja to hand and XYZ Reborn will help keep bringing back Blade Armor Ninja to the field. Debris Dragon is in the deck for two reasons, one so that you can summon something if you target an XYZ with Super Trans or if your opponent either removes your Ninja or his targetted monster before Super Trans sends them to grave. BLS in this deck is a no brainer, there's plenty of graveyard fodder to summon him and with WRA you can keep bringing him back again and again and again. Finally for this deck is Silver Sniper, though he's only just been revealed for Return of the Duelist he makes for a brilliant decoy card early on to stop your Ninjitsu cards getting hit.

With the Armor Ninjas I've experimented with them a little bit and so far this is the deck which has the most consistency in it.

As I said I've not experimented much with Armor Ninjas but playing around with that should make you come up with some good plays for them to do. The Turret Warriors are what make this deck very tricky to deal with as combined with Earth Armor Ninja it makes an easy 2800 beatstick as well as being able to use Turret with Earth for an easy rank 5 if needed. Such as SS Earth, summon Gold, use Golds effect to summon Flame add a level to flame, tribute gold for Turret and go into Heavy Machinery King Doboku Zaku. Also depending on what you face you can switch out the Burdens in the deck for the Solidaritys in the side deck to compensate.

I hope this helps as a starting point for your Ninja Deck, I'm still trying my best to find that 'sweet spot' when it comes to ninjas. When I do I'll be sure to post it up here.--The FireFALL (talkcontribs) 19:40, April 24, 2012 (UTC)

Sounds good! As of right now, I actually haven't had a lot of problems with this Deck against most people (Though we're more casual than competitive), I was instead looking for a minor tweak or a finishing touch. However, I do like your idea(s). Indeed, the Ninja pages on this wiki could use an update. I'll definitely keep an eye out!

Thanks again for your advice Luvas (talkcontribs) 20:56, April 24, 2012 (UTC)
