EDIT: Forgot to put the Extra Deck, sorry :p I mixed my usual E-HERO deck with the new Magician Pendulum cards, and the result was phenomenal. I quickly went up through the ranks in Devpro. It gave birth to a lot of new combos, and I'm too scared to mess with it for it to become worse. Any tips? I really think this might get as popular as the Volcanic Scattershot decks.

I would suggest using 1 Noble Dragon Magician, but I understand if the Extra Deck is too tight for a few Level 7 Synchros. Do you think you could put up your Extra Deck as well? I would drop Dragonvein down to 1 copy, you don't really need a 1 Scale, as you have no Level 2 monsters. I would also bump up Oversight and Dragonpit to 3, as they are Scale 2 and 8, and are Level 7 for Rank 7 shenanigans. Also, what's the point of Heat when you have 3 Blazeman? Also, since you're running Polymerization and Fusion, 1 Odd-Eyes might be worth considering. Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon are actually pretty decent monsters, and if you can run Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon, then it might also be really worth it.
I like your deck, but I think optimizing the Extra Deck to pop out the dangerous HERO Fusions and the Odd-Eyes Extra Deck cards would be helpful (But I would still like to see the Extra Deck :)). If it doesn't work out, you can always go back. --Dark Ace SP (TalkPage) 20:30, June 24, 2015 (UTC)

Dark, I actually built this deck by starting from the Magician/Odd-Eyes build. Trust me, Odd-Eyes didn't fit. Too slow for my taste, powerful but not as fast as this build. This one quickly fills up both graveyard and extra deck, as well as hand. Toss your Shadow Mist for Pendulum Call and add 2 Magicians and a HERO. HERO is Blazeman? Congratulations, you also get a Poly/Fusion Substitute. But wait there's more: Next turn, if both of the added Magicians were Insight Magician, you get to send both to the Extra Deck for a new set of Magicians with actually working scales, and capable of bringing back the 2 level 4 Insights. This is just one of the combos, and the easiest to pull off. Very reliable, like Meta reliable.

EDIT: Dude, you might be on to something. Instead of pumping up Oversight and lowering Dragonvein, I'll pump up more insight. Try to experiment with the deck and tell me what works out for you. Blueexx (talkcontribs) 23:32, June 24, 2015 (UTC)

You can't add 2 Insight with Call, the Magicians need to have different names.

This is what I've been messing with for the past hour and a half. Mostly just tested against the AI on Pro versus Nekroz and Qils. The deck works well in my opinion. --Dark Ace SP (TalkPage) 15:37, June 25, 2015 (UTC)

Also, dropping The Shining for another Zero might be better, Shining is really sub-optimal in this deck, and Zero just offers more in terms of use. I honestly avoided going into Shining if it was between Shining and Castel, Castel always won. --Dark Ace SP (TalkPage) 15:43, June 25, 2015 (UTC)

Dark, I added the Shining since some of the Magicians are LIGHT-Attribute, but I'm with you on removing Trinity since, even though it's a powerful OTKer of a monster, there are rare cases to use it. I decided to add 1 Destruction Magician and a Lavalval Chain, but I think your direction is better :/ Blueexx (talkcontribs) 16:20, June 25, 2015 (UTC)

I understand why Shining is in the deck, but all I'm saying is that I noticed over the course of my early testing that I'd would rather use Insight and a Level 4 HERO to make a versatile Castel over a beater Shining, even if I had a Polymerization/Fusion Sub in my hand. I needed to drop HERO Extra Deck monsters for Castel and that second Dark Law. Law can win games against Nekroz and Qil, and losing a single copy of Dark Law to the AI was really painful in a match-up like Nekroz. I also really like Call of the Haunted due to it being able to trigger Mist, plus CotH allows for an extra push of damage in the Battle Phase, and coupled with Mask Change, could OTK once in a while. --Dark Ace SP (TalkPage) 17:12, June 25, 2015 (UTC)

I like that. Also I can't remove Shining so I'll just remove Adoration; I don't play it much (in this deck, at least). CotH is good but I think there might be better options. I'll try it out either way. Blueexx (talkcontribs) 18:11, June 25, 2015 (UTC)

I dropped the single copy of old Polymerization for Miracle Fusion. Late-game, having dead Insight Magicians and Blazemans in the grave are perfect fuel for Shining. --Dark Ace SP (TalkPage) 02:45, June 27, 2015 (UTC)
