Can you chain to the effect of Princess of Tsurugi to make it so her effect won't burn more of your score?

Can my opponent use Chaos Sorcerer effect after I use Bottomless Trap Hole as a chain?

Even if you set a monster, will Queen of Thorns still cause you to pay 1000 Life Points?

With Dark Strike Fighter, can you tribute himself to use his effect?

Will Red Dragon Archfiend kill himself if he doesn't attack?

1) You can chain to Princess of Tsurugi's FLIP effect.
2) Even if Bottomless Trap Hole is chained to Chaos Sorcerer's effect, it's effect resolves normally.
3) No.
4) Yes.
5) No. It says "all other monsters".

1) You can chain to the effect, but Spell/Trap Cards are not sent to the Graveyard until the Chain finishes resolving. So if you chained something like "Jar of Greed", then "Jar of Greed" would still be on the field when you resolve the effect of "Princess of Tsurugi", so you would still take damage.
However, if you chained something like "Emergency Provisions" to remove the Spells/Traps from the field, then you would take less damage.
2) When your opponent Summons "Chaos Sorcerer", he can call Priority and activate its effect before you have a chance to respond. He activates the effect of "Chaos Sorcerer", then you chain "Bottomless Trap Hole". "Bottomless Trap Hole" resolves first and destroys "Chaos Sorcerer", then "Chaos Sorcerer" resolves and removes from play the monster.
If you activate "Bottomless Trap Hole" without giving your opponent the chance to activate his effect first, then you're rushing your opponent, which is bad. The game would rewind to the point right after "Chaos Sorcerer" was Summoned, and your opponent can activate his effect.
If your opponent says that he is not going to activate the effect of "Chaos Sorcerer", then you can activate "Bottomless Trap Hole". Then, your opponent can't "rewind" the game to activate the effect of "Chaos Sorcerer" because he already had the chance to activate the effect, and he gave it up.
