Forum:Quickdraw Dandywarrior:Where it Stands

So, as most of us know, Quickdraw Dandywarrior is a current Meta deck. They didn't get hit in the current banlist, and even got just that much better by Unlimiting Black Rose Dragon. Konami must like this deck, because not only did they just make the deck better, but they're giving it the amazing card Tuning: a card that searches ANY Synchron Tuner, and then mills one card. It gets the Synchron before you have to mill, possibly saving the card that you want searched (unlike a certain card..). The question is, how will this card effect Quickdraw Dandywarrior decks, the current meta for this format, and will we see this card on the next banlist? -- |DED((Leaving Me Messages Are Often Left Here) 09:56, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

I think Quickdraw Dandywarrior (QDW) will be a good tier 2 deck, but will rarely win any big tournaments. tuning will definetely help QDW, but in my experience, even with new support they can't beat Infernities, X-sabers and Blackwings... Yet, I don't think the banlist will ever hit them, I mean, what should be hit? The synchro's, Drill warrior? Unlike other good archetypes, they don't have a Infernity Launcher, A Dark Armed Dragon or a Judgment Dragon. Jens (talkcontribs) 11:45, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

I think Tuning is overrated; you're going to run 1 anyway.. 2 max, but generally 1. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 13:35, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

I hope it isn't hit because I'm making a deck; but what would they hit anyway, Dandylion? Neoceanlord (talkcontribs) 15:04, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

Maybe if it wasn't for Tytannial, Princess of Camellias. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 15:14, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

They couold limit Dandylion again, it would really hurt them...BassNettoHikari2...Chat Page... 23:33, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah I kind of see that coming from Konami. Hopefully they might. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 04:23, October 3, 2010 (UTC)

I hope they don't Limit Dandy, I love it, its a great card, and seeing that they just semi'd it, and when they released in ABPF SE, I don't think they'll limit it again, unless Dandywarrior decks take 3 out of the four top stops...BassNettoHikari2...Chat Page... 06:22, October 3, 2010 (UTC)

I think Debris-Hime will do better than Quickdraw this format. With BRD at 3 they have gained a lot, and they haven't been hit by the banlist. We'll probably have to wait how it pans out. However, Tuning basically means QDDW are running 5-6 Quickdraw Synchron. IonCharge (talkcontribs) 11:35, October 3, 2010 (UTC)

I think Quickdraw with a splash of the Debris engine is better. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 11:56, October 3, 2010 (UTC)
