Hey guys,

I am interested to hear comments on this Spellcaster Spell Counter deck I made. Be aware that number one, the deck is BIG (60 card total which is the limit), and second, it is a fun deck, and I do not plan on taking it to any tournaments, it is just used for fun play. For the deck being so big, it is pretty quick and actually does win many duels. Here it is:

There are many directions I can go with this deck, and here are some ideas:

1) I have Silent Magician Lv4 and Lv8 and was considering swapping them in instead of Sorcerer of Dark Magic. With the ability to place many counters on cards via Pitch-Black Power Stone, Spell Power Grasp, and Apprentice Magician, I can easily get the counters on Silent Magician Lv4 to upgrade to Lv8 and get magic immunity and an awesome beatstick.

2) I may add another Dark Magician Girl and Chaos Sorcerer to increase chances to summon Sorcerer of Dark Magic. It is rather easy to accomplish when you can special summon 2 Chaos Sorcerers followed by Sorcerer of Dark Magic. The extra Dark Magician Girl would allow fit the criteria for Sorcerer of Dark Magic and could special summon Dark Magician via Sages Stone.

3) The addition of Dark Magician of Chaos (once I obtain one) would be an awesome addition to this deck because I have enough Dark Magician support, and it would be easily special summoned via Dedication Through Light and Darkness.

4) Synchros. Once I obtain Tempest Magician and Arcanite Magician I feel they would be extremely helpful in this deck, but I do not know what I would remove to include tuners.

Please share your constructive thoughts and please do not go for general suggestions like "Mirror Force" as I do not have that card and I do not plan on purchasing it separately just for this deck. Thanks in advance for looking and criticizing!

  • I'd remove the miracle flipper to add something like Frequency Magician, if you want to add synchros. Frequency would work very well here, trust me. --Clockwork-Artichoke 00:35, September 15, 2009 (UTC)
