So I started playing the game when it first came out. After a while I kind of drifted away from it. Recently however I have come back to the game and even gotten some newer cards. I recently rebuilt my deck, but haven't had a chance to use it yet and I'm just interested what to see what the community thinks about it. I'm a casual player who plays Traditional Format and never has and probably never will play in a serious tournament so I don't have to worry about the banned lists.

One last note; I'm not a fan of fusions or synchros so suggesting them won't do much good. Techman1019 (talkcontribs) 05:36, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Not a fan of.....

Well I have a few things to say. First is there really a theme to this deck, or is it just a bunch of powerful cards thrown together?
Like even as a casual player you should create a theme to roll in the deck. Whether it be Gravekeeper's, Dragon's, ext.
Plus with the whole "I'm not a fan of synchro, and fusion" Fusion not so much, but synchro is something that is heavily used now, and wins duels. It could be something to look into

If ya can maybe think of something to have the deck be I can try my best to help ya. Cause myself has just started backup after not playing since like gx was ending

To address your points; right now this is just a deck of powerful cards. I don't have enough cards anymore to build a deck around any kind of theme. I suppose that I have more dragon type monsters than any other type, but not enough to build a full deck out of. As a result, I kind of have to mix and match with the limited selection that I have.

As to the use of synchros, I grant that they are used and, if used correctly, some of their effects can be game changers. My reason or not liking them is due to the cost. I personally don't like the idea of giving up more than two monsters for one. For some players that might not be a problem, but one of the people that I play against fairly often uses a bunch of cards that block special summons or give said monster to him, so I end up loosing three or more cards and he gains one.
