If my opponent solemns or oppressions a synchro monster that I used tuning ware as synchro materials, will I draw cards?24.193.88.193 18:58, February 15, 2010 (UTC)

yes, the solemn negated the invocation, not the effect of tuninware. tuninware's effect is activated when used 4 synchro, wich it was used. Pato M 19:11, February 15, 2010 (UTC)

Yes you will draw since it was still used for the synchro summon its a Mandatory effect and so must activate if its used for the synchro summon, regardless of what happens to the synchro monster. Hope that helps.--Waz4liverpool 23:12, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- The effect won't activate. The Synchro Summon was negated, so "Tuningware" isn't considered to be sent to the Graveyard for any purpose. See Card Rulings:Quick Span-Knight:
- If a monster like "Quick Span-Knight" or "Beast of the Pharaoh" is used as a Synchro Material Monster but the Synchro Summon is negated by a card like "Solemn Judgment", then the effect of "Quick Span-Knight" does not activate since the Synchro Summon was not successful.
- Also see the rulings for "Zolga":
- When a Tribute Summon using "Zolga" is negated by "Solemn Judgment", you don't increase your Life Points.
