i just wanted to ask the effect of waboku. for example, i have a monster on my field with 1900 atk and the opponent also has a monster with same attack. when the opponent attacked my monster, i activated waboku.
heres my question: what will happen next????
will the opponents monster destroyed????

  • Your monster remains on the field. The opponent's monster is destroyed by battle. --Darth Covah (Talk | Contribs) 14:26, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

so the opponent takes 1900 direct damage? and also will waboku effect stay for all the turn or only for that monster for example if he has more than 1 monster example 3 monsters, can he attack with the others or are they effect by it too?

  • Waboku doesn't makes the opponent's monsters ATK 0. It just prevents battle damage to your LP and prevents the destruction of your monsters. Also the effect of Waboku applies until the end of the turn it is activated. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 20:13, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
  • well it's kind stupid what Konami did. The old school Waboku just makes it so that you can't lose life pionts during the turn it was activated. The new Waboku stops the destruction of your monsters and protects your life pionts. i know its retarted and confusing (Lord Takumi
