Forum:Winding It Up! V.SM10 (SOO Broken!)

This deck is now very, VERY fast, thanks to Zenmaighty. He is AMAZING! A free search each turn is awesome, and allows me to swarm with 4 Xyz in one turn. Rat makes crazy Xyz combos by summoning another. Kitten is there to bounce pesky cards, like Kristya. Rabbit triggers Factory, which gives good, free searches and resets the key Wind-Ups. Wind-Ups will be Tier 2 once these are released, that's how good they are. Maxx "C" is my tech card. Currently, this is just for DN. Suggestions? In all seriousness, he's not very good at all - the inability to proactively activate his effect hurts him significantly. I have some suggestions for better cards.

• Wind-Up Honey - this card is a good defender, and lets you start the next turn with a good card like Wind-Up Rat or Wind-Up Magician on the field.
• Wind-Up Hunter - there is a miniature loop involving this card, Zenmaighty, and Rat. Use Zenmaighty's effect to summon Rat from your deck, use Rat to special summon Hunter from your graveyard. Tribute Zenmaighty to eat a card from your opponent's hand. This combo basically nets you massive advantage.
• Wind-Up Dog: Still good, seeing as it goes from level 3 to level 5, triggering Factory.

Knight, in addition to keeping Zenmighty safe when I open with Tour Guide, is the only good level 4 target for Magician, meaning Magician would clog the field otherwise. Speaking of clogging, that's what Honey does. The deck is so fast, that even a broad search like that is too slow, if that says anything about the deck. :P Hunter sounds alright, but again, too slow and kinda situational, considering this decks speed, as I said. I tried Soldier, which is similar to Dog, and it was unnecessary. Unlike before, when 3 were needed, Factory is fine at 2, because I found that after about 2 searches with 2 Factories out, my Wind-Ups were better in the deck. xD Synchro Maniac10 (talk • contribs) 00:54, October 24, 2011 (UTC)

Soldier is better than Dog for a number of reasons. I'd highly suggest using it instead of Knight, as it can make a Rank 4 Xyz monster with Rat. It's also Level 4. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 16:47, October 24, 2011 (UTC)

Eh, I found that Soldier wasn't necessary, as Knight provides great protection, and most of my Rank 3's are at least equal to the Rank 4's, sometimes better, even though Utopia and the others can come in handy. Synchro Maniac10 (talk • contribs) 20:24, October 26, 2011 (UTC)
