Forum:Worms United

Ever since I played the Yugioh video games for the PS1 and PS2, the Reptile type was my favorite. They were among the rarest of monsters, and the least impressive, making them the underdogs of the game, which still holds true today to an extent. To make a long story short, a few months ago my little cousin got me into the game since all the neighborhood kids play it.

A major point I want to make is running a purely reptilian Deck, so I can exploit such cards as Solidarity and Viper's Rebirth. After receiving consultation on these very forums, I decided Worms would be the best candidate. This will obviously not be a truly competitive Deck, but I'd like a little bit of critique anyway. I'm mostly seeking advice on what to put in my Side Deck - that is where I'm putting the 'competitive cards'. That way I can switch between playing seriously and playing the way I want to.

Sweet formatting. I'm going to bypass your Side Deck and advise you not to use "Worm Dimikles" or "Worm Barses". The extra 300 ATK and DEF will not help you against big monsters. On the other hand, "Worm Tentacles" will win you games, especially with "Solidarity".
Main "Solemn Warning" over "Alien Brain". Main "Dark Hole", "Torrential Tribute", and "Heavy Storm" over "Worm Call"/"Molting Escape". I suggest you also side "Vanity's Emptiness" to block Special Summons, "Leeching the Light" to kill big LIGHT archetypes, and one or both of "Rivalry of Warlords"/"Gozen Match".

Luvas (talkcontribs) 07:37, October 10, 2011 (UTC) Thank you muchly. I have edited my Deck accordingly. Anything else I need to be aware of?

...3 Gozen and/or 3 Rivalry. Not one of each, you'll never draw that in time. Use Pot of Duality if you can get it, instead of the amusing-but-slow Worm Warlord. 207.233.120.2 (talk) 17:36, October 10, 2011 (UTC)

Luvas (talkcontribs) 17:46, October 10, 2011 (UTC) Warlord is a monster, and Duality is a Spell...Are you suggesting I take the monster out of my Deck? (I'd have 18 Monsters) I put two of each Trap in my Side.

Yes, they are... BF2 Talk Deck Guides 17:53, October 10, 2011 (UTC)
