[[Gemini monster]]s are a type of monster that are treated as [[Normal Monster]]s on the field, but can be treated as Effect Monsters and gain their effects if they are Normal Summoned again while already face-up on the field. This counts as the player's one Normal Summon/Set per turn, but no Tributes are required if the monster is Level 5 or higher. This Normal Summon can be [[negate]]d like any other Summon.
In OCG text, {{ruby|通|つう}}{{ruby|常|じょう}}{{Ruby|召|しょう}}{{Ruby|喚|かん}} refers to [[Normal Summon]]/[[Set]], while {{Ruby|召|しょう}}{{Ruby|喚|かん}} refers to Normal Summon (but not set).
