Should we keep this article?[edit]

I've got 2 questions:

1. Should we delete this article?

2. If we keep this, can we at least remove User:Prince Corn's name from the article?  HHT   - (Talk to the Turtle) 07:26, June 9, 2012 (UTC)

I would keep it as there looks to have been a lot of effort put into it, and it clearly isn't for 'spam' purposes. It looks okay and the technique is explained in detail and gives a list of recommended cards. I do feel that users username should be removed as you may say it is a piece of 'free advertising' and usernames aren't usually included in main-stream articles and should perhaps lie on the talk page on said article instead. --SuperSponge!! While that is true, it's not a common deck.
Usually these pages would be moved to their user page or to the forum. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 11:47, June 9, 2012 (UTC)
I agree to have this article deleted or at least moved to his own user page. While I will say that the article was written very concisely and tidily, we have to draw a line on which kinds of decks needs its own article. Seriously, who has ever heard of this "Counter Synchro Simorgh". If I created my own "Shapesnatch, Kuriboh, Thousand-Eyes Idol" deck, does it mean it needs its own article?
I suggest we have a thread on the Wiki Discussion section detailing all the requirements a deck should have to have its own article. This should be done to deal with this and this: Forum:Opponent's Hand Deck.  HHT   - (Talk to the Turtle) 14:00, June 9, 2012 (UTC)
So I appreciate the notice of the work I put into this article and if it could be moved that would not be an issue as for my name being removed I would like this to become popular but my name need not be included. The only reason I included it is so that if anyone had any ideas on improving it they would have someone to reference. So I have no real issue with removing my username from the article and any other modifications to this article are no problem. However as long as the article remains somewhere as to keep the concept accessible to the wiki community and receive further attention and perhaps recognition I would be greatly delighted. However, Even though this deck isn't currently well known and widespread i believe there is good reason for this because with the very recent introduction of the gusto archtype to the TCG and the current banlist banning both spore and Glow-up Bulb With regards to the username issue I removed it in order resolve that issue. However I would like to ask what would be the correct form to record that I originally posted the article for worries that others would claim the article as their own? --Prince Corn —Preceding undated comment added 22:33, June 9, 2012 (UTC)
In a Wikia, we don't claim ownership on any article we have written. After you have created an article, your article will be open to everybody to edit.
If what you are looking for is to show the world that "Prince Corn created the first ever Counter Synchro Simorgh" deck, than I'm sorry to say that creating a Wikia article is the wrong way to go about it.  HHT   - (Talk to the Turtle) 08:31, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
Don't get me wrong, the article had a lot of effort put into it and, I feel, should be left as an article. But if you want everyone to know that you created it, then it should be kept on your profile page. --SuperSponge!! (talkcontribs) 08:59, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks everyone for the prompt response and I really don't feel like its important enough to claim ownership to the deck here I rather the article be kept as it is for everyone to edit. I just write something on my profile page. =) So thanks for telling me all this and Long Live this article. --Prince Corn —Preceding undated comment added 13:17, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
Amount of effort put into something should not be the sole justification for keeping an article like this. This is not a common Deck. Move it to the forum, or Prince Corn's userpage. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 14:07, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
Decks become common when people know about them and with the effectiveness of this concept this deck may have much more recognition than some may expect. In addition, Just because this is a new deck doesn't mean we have to wait until it grows to actually document it. An article along these lines will need to be added sooner or later regardless and thus this should stay on the wiki for people to edit and/improve it. --Prince Corn —Preceding undated comment added 17:08, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
It original uploading by Prince Corn, so move to his own article under his name - if many users and admins don't agreed for this deck theme - it's just other "Dark Simorgh" that synchronize with "Counter Fairy" theme. Case closed. --iFredCat 18:31, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
I agree with everyone saying it should be deleted or moved to a forum or user page. This gets 0 results on Google outside of this site. The mainspace isn't for original content. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:31, June 15, 2012 (UTC)
