Spacing[edit]

Edited the page so that the deck lists aren't being overlapped by the victory records. I think this should be done with other pages with similar problems. - Wolfgang DelaSangre —This unsigned comment was made by Wolfgang DelaSangre (talkcontribs) 19:52, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Manually adding spaces will only fix it for your particular screen. {{-}} should be used, so it adds just enough space for whoever views the page. -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:14, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Identifing Kaiba's Briefcase Cards, in the Japanesse version[edit]

Could someone help me name all the cards here in Ep.220 at 7:16? : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZzU8TnhYj8 I noticed they were different than the ones shown in the dubbed version. --Bluemoonwhitenight 20:47, December 15, 2009 (UTC)

http://img2.pict.com/05/68/f5/2537875/0/800/briefcase.png From left to right, top to bottom: Dark Blade, D.D. Designator, D.D. Warrior Lady, Guardian Sphinx, Coffin Seller, Don Zaloog, Big Burn, Fushioh Richie, Spell Shield Type-8, Legendary Flame Lord, Sixth Sense, Great Dezard, Hannibal Necromancer, (unknown spell card), Beast of Talwar, Black Tyranno, Invader of Darkness, Maximum Six, and you can just make out Cost Down at the very bottom.

Wow thanks :) --Bluemoonwhitenight 06:11, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

duelist kingdom deck[edit]

i think cards used by the duel robot should NOT be put under his deck. if i remember correctly, in the japan version, it say the duel robot will include some of kaiba's best cards, but NOT his ORIGINAL DECK. hence the cards used by the robot MAY BE from his breifcase. -Lpoi 16:46, December 20, 2009 (UTC)

I haven't actually seen the original version of that episode, and it was me that merged those cards in. Feel free to remove them. Cheesedude 16:58, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. I agree they shouldn't be put in with the Duelist Kingdom cards and should be separate. Though, I am conflicted about where to put it. Well, it was Kaiba's cards but the robot was using them. It would be sort of confusing if you put on this page the duel robots cards and the cards used against the duel robot and the records. There's already a page for the robot's cards KC DuelTek 1000 or Duel Robot. So, I am conflicted on whether or not to put it on this page. --Qim1 18:35, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
Just link to the Duel Robot's article from this page at one point. We can mention under "Test Deck" that the duel robot used his cards and link from there. Cheesedude 01:26, December 21, 2009 (UTC)
Removed the cards used by duel robot only and link to the duel robot. pehaps someone else could watch the japan version and confirm if he really used the ORIGINAL DECK or if the japan version just say his CARDS (which could be from the briefcase.) -Lpoi 14:53, January 23, 2010 (UTC)
I don't know about the anime, but in the manga, they specifically said that the Duel Computer was using Kaiba's Deck from Duelist Kingdom. -- Deltaneos (talk) 22:14, January 23, 2010 (UTC)
The computer deck is differnt in the anime and manga in the duel robot article... -Lpoi 17:38, January 24, 2010 (UTC)
Lpoi is correct as for Kaiba's "Green Hair", Death-T, and details that didn't make it to Anime that which proved difference from Manga. Therefore showed that AI (computer) have different way of speak and play. --FredCat T.P.F.R.J.R.W.S. 21:01, September 14, 2010 (UTC)

gx deck[edit]

i don't think there is a need to list the gx deck on both this page and kaibaman's page. since it is kaibaman that duel, we should just leave it there and remove the one here, but we can link to the kaibaman article (they are not the same person anyway, only related). -Lpoi (talkcontribs) 14:38, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

I would've have agreed prior to yesterday, but Deltaneos pointed out at Talk:Kaibaman (character) that Chazz mentions in the English version that Kaibaman is using the exact same Deck as Seto Kaiba. I checked some subs, and he more or less does say the same thing in that version. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 17:03, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Non-Canon Part...[edit]

I wondered what happened to that "Non-Canon" in that article... if it's red, then why bother being there... --FredCat T.P.F.R.J.R.W.S. 20:57, September 14, 2010 (UTC)

I don't think the page has ever existed. I would assume Deltaneos will eventually create it, as he's done so for other non-canon entries. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 21:00, September 14, 2010 (UTC)
Alright, if he could do it soon or later. I am just check out why it's just sit there being empty page... --FredCat T.P.F.R.J.R.W.S. 21:02, September 14, 2010 (UTC)

Kaiba vs Yugi/Yami in Duelist Kingdom[edit]

I think that his victory over Yugi/Yami in Duelist Kingdom should be labeled as officially as technically he lost. If he had not pulled a dirty trick by threatening his only life he would have been defeated. —This unsigned comment was made by Tripodssj6 (talkcontribs) 13:00, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

I don't see how he technically lost. The cards that were played, attacks that were made and whose Life Points were dropped to 0 are all technical aspects that determine who won. Yugi could have attacked and won, but technically he didn't. How Kaiba won was immoral, but it was sanctioned. You could also say the same about how Yugi should have lost to Ghost Kaiba, but technically didn't. -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:43, June 9, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry for not signing before. I see you point Deltaneos but in the Ghost Kaiba vs Yugi duel it was an outside source (the real Kaiba) that changed the game. Without that influence we don't know how Yugi could have won but he came through on several occasions against three Blue Eyes White Dragons during the series and he may have been able to defeat the Ghost Kaiba without the real one's help. Where as we know Yugi would have defeated Kaiba if not for his immoral yet sanctioned move. --Tripodssj6 (talkcontribs) 13:56, June 9, 2011 (UTC)
Yugi had 500 Life Points and no cards in his Spell & Trap Card Zone. Ghost Kaiba was attacking "Feral Imp" with "Blue-Eyes White Dragon". He would have lost had Kaiba not interfered. Same as how Kaiba would have lost to Yugi, had Kaiba not put his life at stake. But in both cases, the interferences were allowed and Yugi was considered to have won the first and Kaiba to have won the second. -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:02, June 9, 2011 (UTC)
Right. What COULD have happened and what SHOULD have happened are not relevant. We document what DID happen. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 17:41, June 9, 2011 (UTC)

from "power to beatdown"[edit]

Shouldn't we replace power deck with beatdown? — This unsigned comment was made by Guardmaster (talkcontribs) 15:27, June 19, 2011

Characters have specifically called it a "Power Deck" in the Japanese version. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 00:41, June 20, 2011 (UTC)

LIFE SHAVER[edit]

Why isn't that listed in Kaiba's deck ?--190.83.144.36 (talk) 09:11, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

It wasn't in his Deck. It was added to his hand via "Exchange", when he Dueled Yugi. -- Deltaneos (talk) 11:03, June 18, 2013 (UTC)
