Is there really that much difference between this and Yugi Muto's Decks? Perhaps in some parts of the manga, but I don't think we need to seperate them. --Qim1 16:31, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

It is important also because of Dawn of the duel, where they actually duel each other. He also duels Yugi in "Walking the Dragons," and the outcomes are obviously different. However, I could see this separated into sections of one article.75.221.154.233 02:37, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

True, but everything else is pratically the same as Yugi's page, copied and pasted. Instead, we should in the "Dawn of the Duel" sections you can just seperate then and put 2 decklists titles "Yugi's Deck" and "Yami's Deck." I don't think there are that many differences otherwise to warrent a seperate page. --Qim1 20:39, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Separated Links?[edit]

Why are most of his decks linked to another page? There is already another page to list his decks in order to let it more organized and not so long, this. I don't see reason to make that. LegenaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) January 2nd, 2012, 13:07 (UTC)

Because in all but a few cases, Yami and Yugi use the same Decks. So there's no need to list them on both pages, especially given how complicated it would be to maintain both pages. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 18:11, January 2, 2012 (UTC)

Cite error[edit]

I don't see anything that might cause the error... -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 20:03, January 7, 2013 (UTC)

They are in Yugi's R Decks, "asnormal" is not suitable code for that reference/note template to reading out. --iFredCat 20:09, January 7, 2013 (UTC)
I know where they are, it's just the that code seems to be correct. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 20:30, January 7, 2013 (UTC)
Well, gotta fixing it? --iFredCat 20:31, January 7, 2013 (UTC)
I'm not seeing any issues in the code either. Weird. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 21:57, January 7, 2013 (UTC)
Guess it's time for Dinosaur to visiting this article and jack it up. --iFredCat 22:01, January 7, 2013 (UTC)
A parameter name was misspelled, so the first instance of the reference was not appearing on the page. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:48, January 14, 2013 (UTC)

Egyptian Gods[edit]

What reason is there to give them their own categorization? It looks sloppy to have the template bold everything and then suddenly have an underlined section for the Gods. Yes, they were special cards. But they were still Effect Monsters. There is no reason to classify them as otherwise. And if we do, we should add it to the template and classify the Wicked Gods and Nordic Gods the same way. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 18:05, May 27, 2013 (UTC)

Consistent with the real life illegal versions, maybe. But aside from colour and artwork, I'd say they're more like the legal versions. The different layout and individual colourations combined with the absence of general Egyptian God effects from their lores, would suggest a special group of cards with their own rulings. But the undocumented effects could be credited to the lack of room and their ambiguity. Plus they wouldn't be the only manga/anime cards from their era with details missing from their lores. In the manga, their layout is no different from other cards, apart from language. The anime must have given them different colours to make them stand out and maybe the Type text and Attribute icons were left out because they didn't know what to classify them as.
I'd say mix them in with the Effect Monsters, but if we are to keep them separate, we should change the name from "Divine" to something else and replace the underline with bold. -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:07, May 29, 2013 (UTC)
