Summary after Live Watching[edit]

First Turn: Taro: Speed World 2 - 2nd Effect... AGAIN. Attack with Zushin, Yusei uses a Trap that puts Stardust into DEF and lowers its own attack to 0. Zushin has to match and turns to 1000, against a 2000 DEF! Dealing Taro down to 2500. He of course is surprised at such a brilliant move.

  • Opening Credits*

Taro's turn continues, activate Attack and Receive, then Turn End.

Yusei's Turn: Yusei draws Angel Lift, he plans to use Emergency Tuning with Angel Lift to revive Tuning Supporter and use it with Turbo Synchron in his hand. Pretty obvious what he plans to do with all that. Summon Turbo Synchron. Sets two and Ends Turn.

Taro's Turn: Taro activates a Trap and Zushin attacks. Yusei doesn't disappoint. Synchro Summon, FORMULA SYNCHRON! Draw for Tuning Supporter. You know what is coming. CLEAR MIND!!!! SHOOTING STAR DRAGON!! (complete with rising spin into heaven and SPLITING THE CLOUDS, they know what we like). This is why Synchro Tuner's effect should include Battle Phase and Main Phase. You can't do the sort of emergency stuff in the Battle Phase you should be allowed to. Zushin continues attack, SSD2 blocks.

COUNTER TRAP?!!! Something new, so much for only old stuff, always something conveniently not old. Deals 2000 damage to Yusei. Now Yusei is at 500. Next turn would finish him due to Speed World 2. Turn End.

Yusei's Turn: Only Monster in his hand is Backup Warrior (which is Level 5). He draws EARTHQUAKE GIANT (also Level 5 monster, duh). Clear Mind is playing in background. Yusei declares attack against Zushin. Activate Monster Baton, discard Earthquake Giant. Zushin is dead due to Bora's effect (if you didn't see that coming all the way from last week, you should yourself checked). Another Trap Card open. Whatever it is, Taro is dead.

More of the Circuit is complete. More of the Destroyed Other World starts to appear in "our" world.

Can I call it or what? Only thing I was wrong about is Yusei using multiple attacks, but a Trap would have had to be his alternative to that. One or the other by default. I do wonder why he didn't use Backup Warrior instead. Or if I was blind and it was Junk Collector, it's still a Level 5.

Also, "slowly whittled away" my ass. that was LITERALLY 2 turns. One effect of Speed World 2 YET AGAIN and one sort of strange Counter Trap that had to be the most convenient thing on earth at that point (reminds me of last week) to deal 2000 damage.

Next week, meeting up with Team Ragnarok and discussing the the HOLE IN REALITY with them. Rune Eye reacts to Dragon's Birthmark. Not sure if there will be dueling, but there will be talking, possibly backstory. I suppose Team Rag is trying to save the world too. Maybe they were already sent by ZONE as insurance?

Card of the Week: Some green Level 4, WIND Monster that looks like it would belong to Yusei.

The anime has too many flaw[edit]

Yusei destroyed thud with a card targeting it =\ His urgent tuning + graceful revival was also illegal unless he secretly activated them before the attack.--Moneypony (talkcontribs) 03:21, August 13, 2010 (UTC)

  • "Graceful Revival" summoned a monster, therefore a Replay was triggered. So he had a chance to activate "Urgent Tuning" during the reoccuring attack. Fuel Synchron (talkcontribs) 19:21, August 13, 2010 (UTC)
  • Fuel Synchron is right, it's some kind of game tech; when the number of field or ATK/DEF points are change, replay occurred. So activating traps during battle are not illegal, as long as they're included Counter, ATK/DEF Change, Monster's summon or position change. --FredCat100 (talkcontribs) 19:27, August 13, 2010 (UTC)
