Jaden Loses[edit]

I think that Jaden Yuki lost because after the duel he says that he will become much stronger and when the time comes. and he did not finish and by the looks of i think that Jaden lost —This unsigned comment was made by 92.55.67.97 (talkcontribs) 11:47, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Different people can have their own beliefs on what the outcome was. But we have to look at the facts. Fact is no winner was shown. If the writers wanted it to be obvious who won, they could have easily just shown them winning. It's like when Yugi dueled Joey at the end of Battle City. No winner was shown and likely no winner was even decided by the writers, but people have been free to speculate. Some authors have said before that like to leave some stuff-up to the reader/viewer. This may be one of those cases. But since this article is only to record facts, we can only say that the winner wasn't shown, rather than post our theories on who won. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:49, November 22, 2009 (UTC)
In theory you are correct, but only if you ignore the obvious, clearly Yugi beat Joey, Joey was the comedy relief and Yugi is the king of games, it's one of those things you don't have to think twice about. Now I am a bigger fan of Jaden than Yugi but it is absolutely impossible he could have won that duel, sad truth. One way Jaden could win is if the writers decided to give Jaden some unbeatable card at the last minute like they are so prone to doing ya know? Other than that I don't think it would work. It is not clear that Yugi beat Joey. Joey was sometimes used for comic relief, but he also had a much more serious side. We saw him become strong and independent in Battle City and vowing to duel Yugi to win back "Red-Eyes". And remember that Duel was originally part of the manga. In the manga, the only major Duel Monsters storylines were Duelist Kingdom and Battle City. There was a lot less of him acting the idiot and losing Duels there. Takahasahi even said himself that he believes Yugi and Jonouchi/Joey are stronger than Kaiba and Dark/Yami Yugi. If there was an obvious winner, that build-up was pointless. The reason it was left open-ended was because it could have went either way.
If you asked the writers who won those Duels, do you think they would simply say Yugi? The reason they wouldn't tell you straight out isn't because they're sworn to secret, but because no winner was decided. The articles that mention those Duels go by how they were written, not by us imagining what happens next. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:24, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
Sry, but it is obvious that Joey never won a duel against Yugi, because Joey is nowhere near Yugi´s power level. And when the duel ends Jaden attacks Slifer with a weaker monster, so Jaden´s life points would have been reduced to 0. How could he have won that?--As90 (talkcontribs) 12:15, November 28, 2014 (UTC)

Code Change...[edit]

I realize the article is protected, but could someone with authority to edit it, please mention that Slifer is summoned via Dark Renewal due to Code Change. The article doesn't mention that Yugi uses Judai's Code Change that was sealed in Spirit Mirror. As it currently reads, it really makes no sense that he was able to summon Slifer. Episode Title in Kanji[edit]

Has no-one else noticed that in the box for Kanji, the episode has the title "ライディング・デュエル!アクセラレーション!" (Riding Duel! Acceleration!), not "真の卒業デュエル!十代VS伝説のデュエリスト" (The True Graduation Duel! Judai VS The Legendary Duelist)? —This unsigned comment was made by YamiNoBahamut (talkcontribs) 12:17, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

Oh thanks for the notification. Sorry, there was mistake made when copying and pasting the newer infobox template. -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:53, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

There are a lot of misspelling:

Since "Neos" got destoryed, Jaden plays "Death and Rebirth", selecting "Dark Magicin" as the card to be destroyed, but Yugi plays "Shift", causing "Obnoxious Celtic Guardian" to get destroyed instead. "Death and Rebirth" revives "Neos", ut forces it to attack, causing "Neos" and "Dark Magicain" to square off once again. Having the same ATK, both monsters are destroyed. Each player is impresed by how their opponent managed to counter.

Please fix them.--Hide Head Turtle 13:10, April 28, 2010 (UTC)

Actually there are a lot more, why is this page locked with so many typos.--Hide Head Turtle 13:20, April 28, 2010 (UTC)

Possibility he could've won…[edit]

Even though Jaden might've lost, (was there a shot of his cards in hand during that turn?) remember that he has Honest, a card that could turn the tables in his favor.

A shot of his hand was shown at the beginning of the turn. By the end of the duel, he had used every card in his hand aside from "Winged Kuriboh". Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 18:25, December 7, 2010 (UTC)
Really? That's a shame. My speculation was nothing but a Hope Spot, then. Then again, perhaps his cards were not fanned out? I do that sometimes when I play Yu-Gi-Oh!.
Due to "Card of Sanctity", he had eight cards in his hand, all of which were used save "Winged Kuriboh". So you'll have to go with Hope Spot, yeah. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 06:44, December 8, 2010 (UTC)
Do you even know what he meant by Hope Spot? --125.60.232.133 (talk) 06:29, December 9, 2010 (UTC)

Maybe Jaden wasn't attacking. Maybe he was doing a Contact Fusion with "Elemental HERO Neos" and "Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab" for "Elemental HERO Flare Neos". With its effect, its attack would have increased by 900, making it possibly at least 3400 attack. If "Subspatial Battle" was still out then that's 3800 attack. It was never clear if Jaden was attacking, even though its pretty much the implied obvious move. At any rate, it doesn't matter, as the results aren't supposed to be known. That's between Jaden and Yugi. He had fun dueling, so in that respect he won, just like he always does. Win by having fun. Epic Lee (talkcontribs) 21:59, May 11, 2012 (UTC)
