Card sets[edit]

Hello James, I would like you to not to place the English set into the Japanese set, as well to not to place the set under the card table like did for Pumprincess the Princess of Ghosts, just a head-up warning. WinterNightmare (talkcontribs) 01:14, November 1, 2013 (UTC)

Also, please don't add 2-3 lines of spacing between en_set (or jp_set) and "Shadow Specters", as you did here. Once you put down "en_set", just put the booster pack right under its name. HOWVER, if there is already a pack there, just go beneath the booster pack name, put a blank line there, and add the new booster pack. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 21:05, November 1, 2013 (UTC)

When making set number redirects, please remember to add this. Thanks. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 17:02, December 3, 2013 (UTC)

New PGLD cards[edit]

Would you mind holding off on moving card pages please (in the meantime)? Thank you. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 23:07, March 20, 2014 (UTC)

Sure thing

Thank you for all of your PRIO-related edits, but please stop listing PRIO-EN044|Primal Origin|Super Rare on "Number C102: Archfiend Seraph‎‎"'s page. It's already listed there.--Golden Key (talkcontribs) 17:41, May 5, 2014 (UTC)

OCG/TCG cards format update[edit]

Thanks for the heads up. Please let me know when you are ready to bring the new format live so that I can update our data parsers.

Jamespenguin (talkcontribs) 16:12, January 26, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Jamespenguin, I'm writing to you since it looks like you're the guy that works on I just wanted to let you know that we've been gearing up for a while now for an update to the format to pages on OCG/TCG cards. Most of the work up to now has been in splitting out non-OCG/TCG info to separate articles (we're in the midst of splitting anime and manga cards right now, and there are still a number of video games and a few other real-life games to be done). I can't provide a timescale for when this will finally start happening, but you can start getting an idea of how it'll look and work from Dark Magician Girl (temp), Slifer the Sky Dragon (temp), Kuriboh (temp), Gemini Elf (temp), and Graceful Charity (temp) (though I also need to caution that implementation details may change before we finally start deploying; if nothing else, there are still problems that need to be worked out and the presentation needs some more polish). I'm just letting you know so that, whenever we do finally start on this, it won't catch you guys unawares, and also to give you a chance to provide feedback or suggestions if you have any. Cheers! ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 06:21, January 25, 2015 (UTC)[edit]

Hey James, I have some concerns about your site, I'll tried and contact people to fix the problems, but so far nothing. I'm hoping you can solve the problems or at least let me know what is going on, so maybe I can fix it here, but I'll start

1) All Battle Packs and Star Packs have the exact same price for every card, no matter the rarity, and when you look into the listings, it shows in one rarity, like shatterfoil Rare, that and the commons. the only cards unaffected by this are cards with only one rarity in the sets.

2) All your Short Prints are inflated, they have more listings of the cards on eBay, but for some reason the site chooses to ignore them.

3) You have two missing cards, Evil Thorn and Botanical Girl

4) You also have missing listings for the following cards (and if they have two rarities in the set it will be marked)

  • CBLZ-EN061 Abyss-scale of Cetus
  • ABYR-EN056 Abyss-scale of the Kraken
  • LTGY-EN064 Abyss-scale of the Mizuchi

These cards have lot more listings then what you are showing on your site, I have noticed that for nearly all the cards ones with "-" seem to be affected, luckily not all sets like Wind-Up or Gem-Knights seem to be affected, but these are affected, can you fix this please or at least let me know how to fix the problem, thank you and keep up the great work both here and on your site :)--LeafGreen Ranger (talkcontribs) 17:56, June 19, 2015 (UTC)

Adding card releases[edit]

Hey, I noticed that you were having some trouble adding card releases to pages (example), so I thought I'd give you some tips to help you out.

First, it's important that you put the new sets inside the CardTable2 template, otherwise they won't work at all. You can tell when it ends, because it is closed by }} at the bottom of the page. Ideally, all of the card releases should be placed together, listed in the same order the template displays them (so TCG releases above OCG releases). If you want to add English releases when there is already a Japanese release (which will usually be the case), just place them directly above the Japanese releases to ensure it will display.

Additionally, I noticed that you were adding the English releases in the old style rather than using Template:Card table set. The template itself is fairly straightforward, but if you're confused about how to use it I recommend checking out the documentation on the page Template:Card table set. For a practical example, check out this edit where I updated your addition of English releases to a card page.

If you're still confused or have any further questions about adding new releases to card pages, don't hesitate to ask me personally, or you can put your question in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki Community Discussion forum if you would prefer. --SnorlaxMonster 10:08, October 29, 2015 (UTC)

Hey, I noticed you're still having some trouble adding English sets to pages. Were my tips unclear, or had you not seen my message? If you're still confused, I'm happy to help you out. --SnorlaxMonster 02:35, November 1, 2015 (UTC)

While your account has been handy for fixing Set IDs in some instances, it still has some faults, such as example #1, example #2, example #3 (a continuation of example #1?), and example #4. Since you haven't fixed the problem Snorlax pointed out, and you haven't replied yet, I'm assuming you're using a program of some sort to do these edits automatically (which we have no problem against). However, we'd appreciate your input on how you plan to address the mistakes your account makes, as we don't want to check over all of your account's edits. Your block will be revoked once you reply. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 02:19, November 13, 2015 (UTC)
