Nomination

I am self-nominated, but I will make a change to this Wiki!

I am very active, reason why I want to be administrator is because, I will have the ability to ban people. I will use this feature when someone is not listening after a long time. Being ignorant, or causing too much trouble. But I will certainly never abuse this.

Result - unsuccessful

Questions for the candidate

Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve as an administrator. Please answer the following four questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
A: Helping out the community or should I say, chatting, editing, or any questions you have. If you just want to talk about YGO, then I'm fine. Also, I'd like when people get along. I do not go about randomly and spam. Mainly editing so fellow YuGiOh players can have the correct information(:
2. What do you consider to be your best contributions, and why?
A: Editing, reason being is because I would never want any buddies or any YGO players to have the wrong information.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A: I haven't been in a lot of arguments in this chat, but when I see other people starting a riot, I always try to see what's wrong, try to make them relax, and do the right thing.
4. Do you regularly contribute to any other wikis? Are you an administrator or bureaucrat on any of them, or do you have accounts with similar roles on forums, blogs, etc.? Could you provide links, if so?
A: Yes, I contribute in the RuneScape Wiki, Super Smash Bros. Crossover. and some other wiki's. But the two listed are my main ones. I also contribute on this wiki daily, as it is my most favorite, most viewed, and most contributed. I also love YGO ^_^

  • With only 40 non-user page edits here and 131 total edits cross-Wikia, it's hard to predict how you'd behave as an administrator or find anything that makes you stand out from other editors. Usually editors with a bit more experience are given adminship. The only thing you've said so far that you'd like to do requires admin access is ban people. Banning is a dangerous thing to have access to. It is easy to misuse it for something that seems like a legitimate use. I'd really like to see more experience before handing this out.
    However, judging by your answer to question 3, it seems you're looking to be a chatmoderator. Admins on the wiki are automatically chatmoderators, but it is possible to be a chatmoderator without being an admin. This page is for requesting for wiki adminship, not chatmoderator. Chat is new, so we don't have any formal way of choosing chatmoderators at the moment. In conclusion, I'm not in favour of granting adminship. I haven't seen you much in chat, so I can't comment on chatmoderator, but there isn't a way of requesting that right at the moment. -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:43, August 10, 2011 (UTC)
  • I hardly see you around in the Wikia very much, excluded my time off for work and etc. As following with D-Neos' witness, you have weak connects and answers, not only on here, but also over any articles in this Wikia. I am sorry but to denied your approve of becoming Admins for currently. So best luck next time, when you gain enough experience and enough control over your emotion - which opposed to myself for my past - plus enough of edits (which can be more than thousand). --FredCat 23:48, August 10, 2011 (UTC)
