Since first editing here, WinterNightmare has been an invaluable resource. His skills at getting THE BEST anime card images are unmatched and he is no slouch at finding TCG and OCG card images that no one else seems to be able to dig up. I have seen exactly 0 confrontations between him and another user that did not end amiably. I feel he could benefit from some administrative tools, particulary deletion for when he uploads a png to replace a jpg. —This unsigned comment was made by Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 03:49, October 20, 2013 (UTC)

Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve as an administrator. Please answer the following four questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
- A: Mostly moving pages for upcoming TCG cards, deleting spam page or inappropriate images, and in the worst case scenario, I may block someone. Also, I may participation in forum or discussion of certain topics that may or may not involved an admin. WinterNightmare (talk • contribs) 04:46, October 20, 2013 (UTC)
- 2. What do you consider to be your best contributions, and why?
- A: That a tough one, since I consider most of my contributions to be the best. But if I have to choose, it would be the rework of the template for WC08 characters and the creation of the WC08 characters. The reason for this, is that before I was here, the template was a absolute mess and half of the characters weren't created. I believe this was my best contribution as it took me half a year to finish it. If I wasn't doing this, then who would and how many years, will it finally take someone to do it? Also, this was the first recognition got from this site and I realize I was doing something great and I believe I can do more than that. If I have time, I plan to go back to it and updated the infobox and the decklist since there are out of date. WinterNightmare (talk • contribs) 04:46, October 20, 2013 (UTC)
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Will I can't recall most of the conflicts that I have been involved with, but this happen in February 2013, when Deathpyre decide to change the lore of "Evilswarm Thunderbird" when the "Duel Terminal 7" lore was believe to be a mistake. The conflict happen when I decide to follow what is written on the card text. Then he told me how the effect works and how he used the card for two years before the release of the card in the TCG. I simply respond, but saying wait for a reprint. Two months later, he celebrate and I apologize, but I remind him to follow the rule. Later, TwoTailedFox resolve the conflict. This was one of the conflicts that I trouble over editing in the past and one that caused me stressed, since he wouldn't listen. I still have the screenshot of the Konami database of "Evilswarm Thunderbird" when the lore was believe to be wrong. How I will deal with it in the future, is to ask help and advise from others. Because of this conflict, I realize that I do need help and that by myself, I can't take care of this conflicts alone. WinterNightmare (talk • contribs) 04:47, October 20, 2013 (UTC)
- 4. Do you regularly contribute to any other wikis? Are you an administrator or bureaucrat on any of them, or do you have accounts with similar roles on forums, blogs, etc.? Could you provide links, if so?
- A: Before the Government rules, where anonymous editing wasn't allowed. I would anonymous contribute to any other wikis just to fix small spelling errors. Other than that, nothing else. WinterNightmare (talk • contribs) 04:47, October 20, 2013 (UTC)

- I wholeheartedly support WinterNightmare becoming an admin. He has been very resourceful, bearing the burdens of many image requests, and helps the Wiki keep up-to-date on new Yu-Gi-Oh! content. By far, patience seems to be his best virtue. Not to mention he's well-acquainted with many aspects of the Wiki. - Support from me as well. I've long considered nominating the candidate, and was glad when another Admin chose to go ahead and do so. Winter has made numerous positive contributions to the site, and I strongly believe we can trust him with more abilities. He also seems like a level-headed user, so I doubt there will be any major conflicts initiated by him.
