- Mai gets hold of The Winged Dragon of Ra, but can't use it because her blood is not part of the Royal Egyptians and therefore, can't read the ancient text on the card.
Duel Recap
- Mai Summons Dunames Dark Witch.
- Marik Summons Revival Jam in Defense Position and activates Jam Breeding Machine.
- Mai attacks, but Revival Jam reforms.
- A Slime Token is Special Summoned. Marik activates Pot of Greed and Sets a card.
- Mai activates Harpie's Feather Duster, then destroys Slime Token with her monster, dropping Marik's Life Points to 2700. She then Sets a card.
- Marik Summons Melchid the Four-Face Beast, then Tributes it and Revival Jam to Special Summon Masked Beast Des Gardius. He attacks, but Mai activates Mirror Wall to reduce its ATK in half. Dunames Dark Witch destroys it and Marik's Life Points drop to 2550, but Masked Beast Des Gardius's effect activates, allowing Marik to activate 1 The Mask of Remnants from his Deck and equipping it to Dunames Dark Witch, letting him take control of her. Makyura the Destructor's effect activates, letting Marik activate a Trap Card from his hand. He chooses Rope of Life, which Special Summons Makyura with 800 more ATK. It destroyed The Unfriendly Amazon and drops Mai's Life Points to 3100.
