Photon (フォトン Foton) is an Archetype of LIGHT-Attribute cards used by Kaito Tenjo in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL. This archetype is released in the OCG in Photon Shockwave. The monsters in this archetype all emit blue light on their bodies, along with some armours or scales covering them.
They are geared towards summoning their spearhead, "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" by swarming the field with high ATK monsters with relative ease. As well as this, the smaller monsters within the archetype seem to be based around disrupting the opponent's strategies such as returning their hand to their deck, removing their Xyz Monsters materials and negating their cards effects.
