• In episode 1, Jaden Yuki used this card in his Duel against Vellian Crowler. After activating this card, Jaden would then have his "Flame Wingman" attack "Ancient Gear Golem". Due to this card's effect, "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman" gained 1000 ATK during damage calculation only. "Flame Wingman" then destroys "Ancient Gear Golem". "Flame Wingman" then inflicted damage to Crowler equal to the ATK of "Ancient Gear Golem", winning Jaden the Duel.

• In episode 2, this card appears in a flashback Chazz Princeton has when he notes to his friends that Jaden is the one who defeated Crowler in the Entrance Exam.

• In episode 11, Jaden used this card in his Tag Duel with Syrus against the Paradox Brothers. This card's effect activation then destroyed "Fusion Gate". When "Elemental HERO Tempest" attacked "Dark Guardian", this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Tempest" by 1000 during damage calculation only. Jaden then sent Syrus' set card to prevent "Tempest"'s destruction, however "Dark Guardian"'s effect then prevented its destruction. When "Dark Guardian" is forced to battle "Tempest" because of "One-on-One Fight", Jaden sent this card to the Graveyard to prevent "Tempest"'s destruction, however he still takes Battle Damage from the attack.

• In episode 19, Jaden used this card in his Duel against Dimitri while the latter was using Yugi's deck. When "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" was attacked by "Dark Magician Girl" powered up by its own effect, this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Bubbleman" by 1000 during damage calculation only. "Dark Magician Girl" then destroys "Bubbleman" When "Flame Wingman" attacked "Dark Magician of Chaos", this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Flame Wingman" by 1000 during damage calculation only. "Flame Wingman" then destroyed "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning". "Flame Wingman" then inflicts damage to Dimitri equal to the ATK of his destroyed monster. When "Elemental HERO Avian" was attacked by "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning", this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Avian" by 1000 during damage calculation only. "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" then destroyed "Avian". When Jaden attacked "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" with "Flame Wingman", this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Flame Wingman" by 1000 during damage calculation only. "Flame Wingman" then destroyed "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning". "Flame Wingman" then inflicts damage to Dimitri equal to the ATK of his destroyed monster, winning Jaden the Duel.

• In episode 21, this card can be seen when Jaden is rebuilding his Deck.
  • It is revealed in the above-mentioned episode that Gerard had this card in his Deck when he used to Duel and love it. Gerard saw this card while Jaden was rebuilding his Deck and picked it up. He then remembered a very devastating loss he had that involved using this card. Gerard was using this card against an unknown opponent, but using this card lead to Gerard's loss. Since then he lost his love for Dueling and blamed his loss on this card. Jaden after a while asked Gerard if he liked this card, however Gerard claimed that he doesn't like Dueling or anything.

• In episode 22, Jaden used this card in his duel with Bastion. When "Elemental HERO Bladedge" attacked "Water Dragon", this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Bladedge" by 1000 during damage calculation only. "Bladedge" then destroys "Water Dragon". "Bladedge" then inflicts piercing damage to Bastion. When "Elemental HERO Clayman" attacked "Oxygeddon", this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Clayman" by 1000 during damage calculation only. "Clayman" then destroys "Oxygeddon". When "Bladedge"(whose ATK was decreased by 800 due to it being affected by "Last Magnet") was attacked by "Swordsman of Doom Lithmus"(whose ATK was 3000 due to there being a Trap on the field), this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Bladedge" by 1000 during damage calculation only. "Swordsman of Doom Lithmus" then destroys "Bladedge". When "Clayman" was attacked by "Hyozanryu", this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Clayman" by 1000 during damage calculation only. "Hyozanryu" then destroys "Clayman". Bastion then destroys this card with "A Wingbeat of Giant Dragon".
  • During the Duel, Gerard watches the Duel and sees Jaden play this card as well as seeing Jaden and Bastion having fun while they were Dueling. This is enough for Gerard to regain his love for dueling again and he decides to put his past behind him. After the Duel, he reveals to Alexis Rhodes that he has decided that he wants to help find the missing students from the Abandoned Dorm rather than getting information.
  • This card appears in four flashbacks Gerard has. The first flashback was when he remembered Jaden being very nice to him. The second flashback was when he recognized this card. The third is when he remembered having fun in a Duel. The fourth flashback was when he remembered losing against his unknown opponent(which was Kaiba).

• In episode 23, this card can be seen when Jaden rebuilds his Deck.

• In episode 30, Jaden uses this card in his duel against Nightshroud. When "Elemental HERO Wildedge" attacks "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon", this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Wildedge" by 1000 during damage calculation only. "Wildedge" then destroys "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon". When "Wildedge" attacked the "Half Token" summoned by "Wild Half", this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Wildedge" by 1000 during damage calculation only. "Wildedge" then destroyed the Half Token. This card's effect did not activate when "Wildedge" attacked "Spear Dragon" as the latter had less ATK than "Wildedge". Nightshroud's Life Points were then reduced to 0, winning Jaden the duel.

• In episode 34, Jaden uses this card in his duel with Kaibaman. When "Elemental HERO Bladedge" attacked one of Kaibman's "Blue-Eyes White Dragons", this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Bladedge" by 1000 during damage calculation only. "Bladedge" then destroys "Blue-Eyes White Dragon". This card played no other part in the duel after that.

• In episode 48, Jaden uses this card in his duel with Kagemaru. When "Tempest" attacked "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Tempest" by 1000 during damage calculation only. "Tempest" then destroys "Uria". When "Uria"(whose ATK was 4000 due to there being four Trap Cards in Kagemaru's Graveyard) attacks "Tempest", this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Tempest" by 1000 during damage calculation only. Jaden then sent his set "Transcendent Wings" to the Graveyard to prevent his mosnter from being destroyed, but he still takes damage. When "Tempest", powered up by "H - Heated Heart", attacks "Uria", this card's effect activated, increasing the ATK of "Tempest" by 1000 during damage calculation only. "Tempest" then destroys "Uria" Kagemaru destroys this card when he activates "Lost Paradise".

• Jaden uses this card in his duel with Tyranno Hassleberry. Activating this card destroyed "Jurassic World. This card's effect activated when "Elemental HERO Wild Wingman" attacked "Dark Tyranno". This card played no other part in the duel after that.

• Jaden uses this card in his second duel with Aster Phoenix. This card's effect activated when "Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman" attacked "Elemental HERO Shining Phoenix Enforcer". This card is destroyed when Aster activates "Clock Tower Prison".

• Jaden uses this card in his duel with Lorenzo. This card's effect activated when "Elemental HERO Burstinatrix" attacked "B.E.S. Armored Core". This card is destroyed by the effect of "B.E.S. Tetran".

• During Jaden's duel with Howard X Miller, Jaden is forced to send this card from his hand to the Graveyard due to "Purse with a Hole".

• Jaden uses this card in his duel with Princess Rose. Its effect activated when "Avian" equipped with "Power Charger" attacked one of the three "Des Frog". This card played no other part in the duel after that.

• During Jaden's first duel with Sartorius, this card is seen when Jaden searches his Deck via "E - Emergency Call".

• Jaden uses this card in his second duel against Dr. Crowler. It is activated from Jaden's Deck via "Demise of the Land". Jaden would then have his "Flame Wingman" attack "Ancient Gear Golem". This card then increased "Flame Wingman"'s ATK by 1000 during Damage Calculation only. "Flame Wingman" then destroyed "Ancient Gear Golem". "Flame Wingman" then inflicted damage to Crowler equal to the ATK of "Ancient Gear Golem", winning Jaden the Duel.

• This card is seen in Jaden's Deck when Sartorius is shown slipping "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool" into it.

• During Jaden's second duel against Sartorius, Jaden is forced to send this card from the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard via the effect of "Sowing of the Fool".

• This card's last appearance is in episode 167 when he faces Crowler again and uses "Demise of the Land" to activate this card from his deck and repeat his winning move from their first duel.
