OCG Rulings
- This card is a Normal Summon Monster.[1]
- "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" and "Dark Simorgh" are Normal Summon Monsters, so they can be Tribute Summoned from the hand. They may also be Special Summoned from the Graveyard with another card effect, even if the monster is sent directly to the Graveyard from the hand or Deck.[2]
- You can remove from play a Dragon-Type Token Monster from the field to Special Summon "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon".[3]
Q&A Rulings
- Q: A "Destrudo the Lost Dragon's Frisson" that was Special Summoned by its own effect is face-up in my Monster Zone. In this situation, can I Special Summoned a "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" from my hand by its own effect, by banishing that "Destrudo the Lost Dragon's Frisson"?
- A: In this scenario, since "Destrudo the Lost Dragon's Frisson" would be placed on the bottom of the Deck when it leaves the field, it cannot be banished to Special Summon "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon".[4]
