The Black Feather monsters are an Archetype of cards making their debut in "Crimson Crisis". In the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime, they will be shown during the 30th episode by Crow, who will be a new character within the series.
The only know confirmed real cards thus far of this Archetype is a Synchro Monster called "Black Feather - Armored Wing", and a Tuner Monster called "Black Feather - Gale of the Hurricane". Two others have appeared on the anime called "Black Feather - Sirocco of Dawn" and "Black Feather - Blast of Black Spear". Whether they will become real cards remains to be seen.
It seems that this Archetype is focussing around Swarming and changing the ATK or the DEF of a monster on the field.
