Broken World (かい Sekai) is a series of Field Spell Cards related to "Visas Starfrost" and the "Scareclaw", "Tearlaments", "Kashtira", and "Mannadium" archetypes.

Lore[edit]

Etymology[edit]

The Japanese name of the series (かい Sekai) is a homophone of「かい」 (Sekai, "world"), with the second character Kai being replaced by 「かい」 (Hakai, "destruction" or "break"). All Broken World Field Spell Cards also add another character in front of those two, a number written in its daiji form, and as such their Japanese names follow the scheme "[Number] Broken World - [Name]". In English, they're instead simply called "Planets" and given an adjective beginning with "P".

The proper names of the Broken World Field Spells seem to be a combination of the word "kingdom" or "realm" in various languages and a word referring to the theme of the associated archetype.
