Major Events
- Strings Duel with Slifer the Sky Dragon.
- Yami wins when Strings runs out of cards and gets Slifer.
Duel Summary
- Strings Sets a card and Summons Humanoid Slime.
- Yugi Sets a card and Summons Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts.
- Strings Summon Worm Drake, then activates Polymerization, sending both of his monsters to the Graveyard to Fusion Summon Humanoid Worm Drake. He activates Quick Attack so it can attack this turn, but Yugi activates De-Fusion, sending it back to the Fusion Deck and Special Summoning the Fusion-Material Monsters.
- Yugi Summons Beta The Magnet Warrior and destroys both of Strings's monsters, dropping his Life Points to 3000.
- Strings Summons Revival Jam and activates Jam Breeding Machine.
- Yugi Tributes his two monsters to Summon Buster Blader. He attacks, but whenever Revival Jam is destroyed by battle, it is Special Summoned to the field immediately.
- A Slime Token is Special Summoned. Strings Sets a card.
- Yugi attacks a Slime Token, but Strings activates Jam Defender, redirecting the attack to Revival Jam.
- Another Slime Token is Special Summoned and Strings activates Nightmare's Steelcage.
- Yugi passes.

- Slifer, now with 4000 ATK, attacks, but Yugi activates Lightforce Sword to remove a card from Strings's hand. Slifer's ATK decreases to 3000. Buster Blader counter attacks, but Revival Jam blocks the attack and is Special Summoned to the field. Strings activates Card of Safe Return, letting him draw three cards whenever a monster is Special Summoned from the Graveyard. Now Slifer has 5000 ATK. It destroys Buster Blader, dropping Yugi's Life Points to 2100.
