  • This card is the second upgraded form of "Stardust Dragon" to not include the word "Star" in its name. The other is "Cosmic Blazar Dragon".
    • However, a quasar is a star-like phenomena that emits powerful cosmic radiation across the electromagnetic spectrum.
  • In episode 150 of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, when this card is summoned and descends from above the sky, it resembles how a real quasar looks like; a giant vortex of gas with a jet of light emitting from its middle.
  • The ATK and DEF of this card can be found by adding 700 ATK to "Shooting Star Dragon's" ATK, similar to "T.G. Blade Blaster" and "T.G. Halberd Cannon" as this card and "T.G. Halberd Cannon" are both evolved Accel Synchro Monsters.
  • This monster has effects that allude to each of the "Signer Dragons":
    • It can attack multiple times, similar to "Shooting Star Dragon".
    • It negates battle destruction negation effects, similar to the effect of "Stardust Dragon" to negate effects that destroy.
    • It negates Effect Damage, similar to "Life Stream Dragon" and "Black-Winged Dragon".
    • It has an effect that destroys monsters, which could be a combination "Black Rose Dragon's" and "Red Dragon Archfiend's" effects.
    • It is immune to other monster effects, similar to "Red Nova Dragon's" immunity to destruction.
    • It can Special Summon another monster, attributed to the effect of "Ancient Fairy Dragon".
  • This card's OCG effect is similar if not reminiscent of "Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode's" effect. "Shooting Quasar Dragon" can negate any card effect and special summon "Shooting Star Dragon" from the Extra Deck when it's leaves the field, much like how "Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode" can negate any card effect and Special Summons "Stardust Dragon" when it's destroyed and sent to the Graveyard.
  • This card's body resembles the "Time Lords", the monsters that this card came about to encounter.
  • This card's appearance is reminiscent of a "Majestic" version of "Shooting Star Dragon".
    • More evidence to this is that it is also 2 levels higher than its "base" form and that the same music plays during its summon.
  • This card bears a strong resemblance to a random dragon from the Xbox game Panzer Dragoon Orta.
  • This card's attack, The Creation Burst is likely reference to the "Big Bang"
