TCG Rulings
- If Reborn Tengu is attacked face down and destroyed by battle, it's effect resolves since during the damage step it gets flipped face up like a flip effect monster.
- This effect is mandatory and can activate during the Damage Step.[1]
- This effect does not activate if Reborn Tengu is returned from the field to the Deck. [1]
- This effect does not activate if Reborn Tengu is removed from the field while face-down.[1]
