Card Rulings:Reborn Tengu
TCG Rulings
- This effect is mandatory and can activate during the Damage Step.[1]
- This effect does not activate if Reborn Tengu is returned from the field to the Deck. [1]
- This effect does not activate if Reborn Tengu is removed from the field while face-down.[1]
Judge Program Forum Rulings
These Ruling(s) have not been confirmed as applicable to the TCG.[Notes 1] |
- Solemn Warning: "Solemn Warning" does not have the same activation timing as Trigger Effects that activate after a monster is Summoned ("Swift Birdman Joe", "Black Rose Dragon", etc) or Trigger Effects that activate when the monster is sent to the Graveyard as a Tribute for a Tribute Summon or used as Synchro Material Monster for a Synchro Summon ("Dandylion", "Reborn Tengu", etc). Those effects do not activate in the middle of the Summon, they must wait until after the Summon is either successful or negated before they can activate.[2]
OCG Rulings
- If a face-up "Reborn Tengu" is returned to the Deck by the effect of "Phoenix Wing Wind Blast", its effect does not activate. Also, if a face-down "Reborn Tengu" is returned to the Deck by the effect of "Phoenix Wing Wind Blast", its effect does not activate.[3]
- When a face-up "Reborn Tengu" is tributed for a Tribute Summon or sent to the Graveyard as a Synchro Material Monster, its effect to Special Summon 1 "Reborn Tengu" from the Deck activates. Also, if "Reborn Tengu" is used as an Xyz Material and is then sent to the Graveyard, since this is not treated as leaving the field, the effect to Special Summon 1 "Reborn Tengu" from the Deck does not activate.[4]
Notes
- ↑ Konami Judge Program Rulings are considered unverified, as their source(s) are not publicly viewable. They are not confirmed as applicable to the TCG until they have been officially published by Konami.
