* To create an [[OTK]] with this card, first [[Normal Summon]] any monster. Then, set "[[Scapegoat]]", 2 "Poseidon Wave"s and "[[DNA Surgery]]". Before your opponent attacks, activate "Scapegoat" and "DNA Surgery", changing all monsters you control into Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua-Type monsters. When your opponent attacks, activate the 2 Set "Poseidon Wave" to inflict 4000 points of damage × 2 = 8000 damage.

** You would need your opponent attack twice in a row for this to work. For a more reliable semi-OTK with less set up, this would utilize a "[[Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth]]" on the field, "[[Battle Mania]]", and two Poseidon Waves while your opponent has at least two monsters on the field (there are a number of cards you can use to give your opponent monsters, one of the best being "[[Nightmare Archfiends]]"). Discard a card to fill your field with monsters using SDKC's effect, set the traps you'll use, and allow your opponent to begin their turn. During their standby phase, activate Battle Mania to force their monsters to attack, and activate Poseidon Wave each time. Although the damage potential of Poseidon Wave is great, it is more reliable when used to punish the opponent for attacking while you control the field, and any successful OTKs are hindered by the fact they rely on your opponent being able to attack.
