- In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's episode 4, Yusei Summons "Quillbolt Hedgehog" in Defense Position. Jack destroys it with "Mad Archfiend". Yusei laters revives "Quillbolt Hedgehog" with its effect and sends it and "Junk Synchron" to the Graveyard to Synchro Summon "Junk Warrior".
- In episode 11, Yusei Summons this in Defense Position. Ushio attacked and destroyed it with "Search Striker" on his turn. On Yusei's next turn he revives it with "Junk Synchron's" effect. He then attempts to Synchro Summon "Junk Warrior", but Ushio plays "Discord Counter". Next turn, Ushio destroyed "Quillbolt Hedgehog" with "Pursuit Chaser".
- In episode 12, Yusei revives it with its effect and later plays "Urgent Tuning" so he could use "Turbo Synchron", "Sonic Chick", "Quillbolt Hedgehog" and "Speed Warrior" to Summon "Turbo Warrior".
- In the English dub of episode 13, this card was featured in Yusei's flashback on low-level monsters.

He then used "Quillbolt Hedgehog" and "Nitro Synchron" to Synchro Summon" "Nitro Warrior".
