Major Events
- Odion pretends to be Marik.
- Odion Summons The Winged Dragon of Ra, but his card is a fake. This angers the real Ra. It knocks out both Duelists. Joey gets up first and therefore wins.
- After the loss, Marik's dark side is freed and takes over.
Duel Recap
- Joey Summons Gearfried the Iron Knight.
- Odion activates Temple of the Kings and Sets two cards.
- Joey Summons Tiny Guardian.
- Odion Sets two more cards.
- Joey Summons Hayabusa Knight and then activates Giant Trunade, but Odion activates Judgment of Anubis, negating and destroying Giant Trunade. Next all of Joey's monsters are destroyed and his Life Points drop to 1900.
- Odion Sets two cards.
- Joey Summons Alligator Sword and Sets a card.
- Odion passes.
- Joey passes.

- Joey Summons Rocket Warrior and attacks, but Odion activates Eye of Wdjat, redirecting the attack to Alligator Sword. Joey, however, activates Fairy Box and the attack target misses. Odion activates three Embodiment of Apophis, each of which turns into a monster with 1600 ATK. Joey Sets a card and switches Alligator Sword to Defense Position.
