Duelist Kingdom Arc
- In this arc, when Yugi Muto used this card, it was able to destroy or disable any opposing monster who targeted it in battle or with its effect.
- This card made its first appearance in Yugi's duel against Weevil Underwood. Yugi used it to trigger Weevil's Parasite Worm, destroying it and losing only a tiny amount of Life Points.
- It next appeared in Yugi's second duel against Seto Kaiba, where Yugi used Multiply to transform it into an ever-multiplying wall, rendering Kaiba's Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon incapable of destroying it.
- Yugi also played this card during his Duelist Kingdom duel against Mai Valentine. It was sacrificed several turns later alongside Gaia the Fierce Knight to initiate the Black Luster Ritual.
- During Yugi's duel against Maximillion Pegasus, he used this card alongside Multiply to force Pegasus' Thousand-Eyes Restrict to absorb them, resulting in the Kuriboh self-destructing and blinding the Thousand-Eyes Restrict.
- When traveling through the virtual forest during the Legendary Heroes storyline, Yugi summoned this card and combined it with Multiply, then launched them all using Catapult Turtle to destroy a swarm of Great Moths.
Battle City/Virtual World Arcs
- Yugi summoned this card during his duel against Strings. It was tributed to summon Dark Magician Girl.
- During his and Kaiba's first tag-team duel against Lumis and Umbra, Yugi summoned this card, but respected Kaiba's wishes to not interact in the duel. Kuriboh remained on the field until the duel ended.
- During the second tag-team duel against Lumis and Umbra, Yugi combined this card with Multiply to protect Kaiba from Shining Abyss' direct attack. Next turn, Lumis used Mask of Dispel to turn the swarm back into one Kuriboh, and destroyed it with Grand Tiki Elder.
- Yugi summoned this card in his duel against the Marik Ishtar-controlled Joey Wheeler. Joey attempted to attack it with Alligator's Sword, but Yugi saved it with Spellbinding Circle. Yugi later sacrificed it alongside Big Shield Gardna to summon Red-Eyes B. Dragon.
- In Yugi's duel against Yami Bakura during the Battle City semi-finals, he summoned this card, then used Collected Power to force the Evil Ghost of the Graveyard from Bakura's Dark Sanctuary (as well as Magic Formula) onto it. He then destroyed this card with Exile of the Wicked, destroying the Evil Ghost as well.
- During his duel against Gansley in the virtual world, this card chose itself as Yugi's Deck Master. Towards the end of the duel, Yugi sacrificed it to initiate Rainbow Blessing.
- Yugi also summoned this card during his and Joey's tag-team duel against the Big Five combined. It was destroyed by the Deck Master ability of Johnson's Deck Master, Judge Man.
- This card attacked Noah Kaiba directly the turn it was summoned during Yugi's duel against him. It was later destroyed by Noah's Yamata Dragon.
- In the rematch between Yugi and Seto Kaiba, Yugi discarded this card to protect his Life Points from a direct attack from Kaiba's Obelisk the Tormentor.
Grand Championship Arc
Yugi discarded this card from his hand in a Duel against Vivian Wong, when her Dragon Lady attempted to attack him directly.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Dimitri used this card a few times against Jaden Yuki after he stole Yugi's Deck. It was ultimately removed from play in order to summon "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning".
- This card appears in the second version of GX Japanese opening song of 99%.
- Yugi Muto was shown with this card.
